Could somebody from the Trust elucidate what the EFL meant here? It all sounds so imminent and dire.

What are the EFL on about when they asked the Trust if they are prepared for an insolvency event? What can the Trust actually do?

Wrexham today announced a new 7 million pounds investment, in exchange for one share in the club. So basically a gift. To be used as the club sees fit - wages, or January window, or to help with the new stand. Rob and Ryan are open, smart, have a plan, employ experts to carry it out, and they sit back and people give them money. Our useless, secretive, go it alone owner meanwhile haunts usurious loan sharks because he has no mates, nobody respects him or believes in his ability to succeed. We need to get him out - and well done to the real fans who can see it.

I don't see it helping. There's 'source of wealth' and there's 'ongoing financial sustainability'. I doubt there's going to be anything done on account of the former, and the latter sounds like a 'cut your cloth according to your means' sort of thing. They'll look at DC's penury and make him run us as a League Two club.

Thing is, he has to pay. Player sales, and doing it right now, is all he's got left. Then in another month it'll be game over for him I reckon.

I think this is the very situation where the new IFR will have the authority to step in and force actual administration. This keeps being alluded to by the likes of Clive Betts.

Really this situation is what administration is for. A company that can't pay its bills but has a viable future under new ownership. We really should be in administration now.
