  1. Deckchairs on titanic Absolutely zero point in getting worked up with any game this season
  2. What’s he going to change? This is about as good as it gets this season, dunno what the hell some people are expecting with this squad!
  3. Think we probably need Bannan until he literally can’t move
  4. I’ve read and heard things to the contrary but it really is. Never felt more relaxed, if we put in a good performance and get narrowly beat I won’t be bothered in the slightest. If we somehow manage to stop them winning or even better manage to knick il be absolutely buzzing
  5. Ibrox away fans corner under that score board
  6. I’ve sent him a DM see what he says
  7. Cheers for all the positive comments, the WTID pod really like it and have said they’ll plug it at the start of their Sunday episode Just need a response from the Club to get some momentum
  8. Thanks yes I’ve contacted them about getting a website article published, given its International week with little news and the derby is coming up
  9. https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=p4-VHQ4XLeI&si=qY1hdQzaKIm3l-ef - YouTube link
  10. My brother has written a new song called ‘Wisdom and Courage (Over the Don) that we’ve recorded together recently and it’s now been published on Spotify this morning - link above. The lyrics capture what this club means to our family and I think also reflects what we’ve all been through recently. We’re looking to get this widely publicised in the coming days and weeks and (if people like it!) hope that in time it becomes one of our iconic anthems. It would be great to get everyone’s feedback and for people to share this to Wednesday loving friends and family. Im not able to upload the MP3 file for some reason so apologies if anyone isn’t able to play this through the Spotify link. It will be on other platforms like YouTube shortly. Enjoy ️️
  11. They’ve talked about designing some multi game packages and reducing match day ticket prices for between Sheff U and the New Year. i would have thought details will be out soon enough
  12. Great idea As a chartered Planning Consultant I’d be happy to prepare and submit manage the planning application free of charge. Dm me if you want to work together on this
  13. Ibrox is class, go up there 3 or 4 times a year, would love to see Wednesday play there
  14. Maybe my maths is slightly out... If we work off 32,000 as being the maximum permitted capacity, of which 4,000 is located in both tier of the Lep then that would be 28,000 home fans. You would need a minimum away following of 2,000 with all home stands sold out to achieve a 30,000 crowd. Even if every single home seat including restricted view was sold for next Wednesday I don't think we'll see a 30,000 crowd
  15. With the SAG restrictions, a 30,000 crowd just simply can’t happen anymore without a full away end. 28,000 would mean that the home ends have just about sold out with 27,000 home fans and Norwich bringing the rest
  16. And to top it off I think ex Ger Terry Butcher was manager of Motherwell too
  17. I was at Old Trafford to watch Man Utd v Rangers in January, this was belted out by the Rangers fans for half an hour non stop Forget the verses but the chorus from around 0:33 would work a treat, and I think sums up how we’re all feeling at the moment Words below: So let me tell you that I love you And I think about you all the time Hillsborough Stadium is calling me And I’m going home To think about life without Wednesday You know that it would make me more than sad Sheffield Wednesday is everything I’ve ever had PS for anyone wondering what are they on about when singing “the day the helicopter changed direction”?… Just Google helicopter Sunday
  18. Don’t forget the ST value (£25) gets knocked off so probably looking at £65 inc VAT
  19. I sponsored the Charlton home game in Feb 2023 (League 1), i thought that was about right for what was offered.. £240 a head (10 guests) including VAT for a decent meal, drinks, half time refreshments, good service and seats in Directors Box. Would probably pay £2,500 + VAT (£3k) but wouldn’t be interested if it’s north of that
  20. Offer ST holders the chance to upgrade their seat to hospitality for around the £50-100 mark (depending on the opposition) You would essentially be paying for a meal, waiter service and a halfway line seat which is very steep to most people but for those who can afford it would be something different to experience and a way to raise cash. Ive also emailed to say I’d be prepared to sponsor a game through my business again but it would have to come down to prices that were offered in 2022 when I last did it (£2000 + VAT) - currently around double that!! Would any ST holder be interested in a hospitality upgrade at that price bracket?
