  1. Liam Cooper has started well in my view. and looks decent in what they used to call the "second centre half" role. Bernard when fit can also fill that role well too. What I think we desperately need though is a tall imposing Centre Back in the 6 ft 3inch + bracket. Helik would have been good but that ship has sailed as we all know that C was not prepared too spend any money. I found conceding goals from corners so easily yesterday soul destroying.
  2. Some erorrs early on in his stay but much improved performances now from Horvath. It is probably a couple of years since he will have played first team football which needs to be taken into account.
  3. Totally agree. I am sure like many others I would happily contribute should fines ensue for the pitch invasion yesterday. In many ways it was the best protest yet as all the extra stewards laid on will have cost the Thai owner money. Well done the 52!
  4. I think the thing that is so impressive is that the protestors who went on the pitch did not know what might happen to them. Arrest could have been the outcome with obvious consequences. They were passionate and brave enough to stand up against Chansiri and we all know how incredibly vindictive he can be. Maybe a plaque is a bit OTT but a picture would serve as a reminder of these dark days.
  5. I do believe that when the nightmare of Chansiri is finally over we do need to have some form of plaque/picture to commemorate the 40+ pitch invaders yesterday. They showed real courage because the consequences of their actions were unknown. I would be more than happy to fund some form of plaque/picture at Hillsborough in their honour.
  6. It has been a good while since we heard anything from that nasty little s*** Chansiri. The nasty little man with the big big ego. So brace yourselves because he cannot help himself coming out with some verbal diarrhea. The classic example was the so called "Open Forum" in January when the club was well placed for a play off push given a few reinforcements, had its best manger since Big Ron in place and he goes and attacks Danny Röhl. Cras or what! Those who attended the "Open Forum" should hang their heads in shame. Be warned I would expect an outburst from the nasty little man very very shortly
  7. I am pushed for time so cannot read through to see if there is going to be a boycott of the Leeds match by Wednesday fans or not. Hopefully there will be. But if you pay the Thai owner, take the King's shilling and go to this game you are not a true Wednesdfay fan in my view. Chansiri needs to be starved of every single penny. He is unbelievably stupid and ignorant but even he may begin to understand just how much people truly despise him.
  8. Yes, unfortunately I too believe that 19th place for us next season in the Championship next season is wildly optimistic. If Chansiri stays and Danny Röhl leaves then I am sure we will finsih bottom. One stat that rarely lies is spend versus fiinal league position. Last season our spend under the Thai was bottom three/four so we did remarkably well to finish 12th. The other factor is the toxic atmosphere and almost universal hatred of Chansiri that was there for all to see in the final matches of the season versus M'boro, Portsmouth and Watford. If Chansiri cannot see that he is finished here then imo things will inevitably turn very nasty.
  9. I personally would have preferred it if the OP SWFC Nathan had prefaced his remarks about the the club if he/she had acknowldeged that the cancer that is Chansiri has fully enveloped Sheffield Wednesday. SWFC Nathan may be too young or perhaps has conveniently forgotten that when the Thai "buinessman" aqcuired the club in 2015 Sheffield Wednesday owned its own ground, the land surrouinding and of course the Megastore. Now these are owned by some byzantine arrangement in Thailand. Time to rid the club of the cancer that is Chansiri . Then we can be positive.
  10. I have just purchased some black and yeellow ballons so hopefully they will be delivered on time. If not, it sounds as though people will be giving them ouf prior to entering the ground?
  11. We are all aware that Chansiri was gifted money by his wealthy business man Thai father. It speaks volumes that Chansiri D plays no role whatsoever in the TUF business. I therefore found it quite promising that Anas Sefrioui has built a significant business in Morocco off his own bat. He has also built that business in the world of property and constuction where delivery is key. You do not win many big contracts unless you have a strong reputation for delivering. The two men seem at first glance to be poles apart. Thank goodness!
  12. Just a ray of hope amid all the gloom created by Chansiri..
  13. I thnk that many of us will be feeling very down about the prolonged impact that the cancer that is Chansiri is having on our club. I may be entirely wrong but I do though feel that we have gone over the tipping point. The cancer that is Chansiri cannot come back from this.
  14. I would imagine that Chansiri will have been celebrating in the small hours over yesterday's result and performance. Chansiri appointed the hapless Munoz and got lucky with DR on the second time of interviewing. But Röhl is a threat to him because he is both well-liked and respected whereas Chansiri is despised by the vast majority of SWFC fans. The current results deflect some of the criticism. However having lived through the Dave Allen final year when people like Grandad here on Owlstalk helped to keep us all sane I do believe we should be hopeful. I sense we are beyond the point of no return for Chansiri. It is now when not if he leaves. He is a cancer that is steadily desroying Shefield Wednesday FC and like a cancer he has to be removed. So hopefully on Monday I hope he will hear "F' off Chansiri, get out of our Club" loud and clear if he bothers to stream the match.
