Morning folks!! I'm a reyt giddy kipper this morning - my first visit back to S6 for over 2 years for obvious reasons ... came up from S Wales on Friday and together with old friends/workmates had a memorial celebratory drink yesterday for one of my longest and closest friends who passed away a fortnight ago bless him at just 58 years old...he was a Yoonited fan and a right sarcy git too, a proper Sheffield lad bless him! A great send off!! I've been staying up on Bradfield Moor at another friend's house so I get to drive down to the ground this morning on the route I used to go from being a young un...Wadsley Lane parking and a walk down the hill seeing the ground in the distance from there.. It'll be emotional!! Let's all enjoy the occasion (if we can) and show the watching world what a fine old club and fans we are...Gawd knows what the score will be but let's stick it to them lot too!!

It's his World Cup Final and everyone knows it... He'll be annoyingly smug afterwards (yes, I expect them to beat us...)... The man is a complete arse!! Just hope that we can go one up and stare and chuckle at his sad sarnie face for a while at least tho'! The tide will turn soon!!!

Loved watching Rodger playing for Wednesday... He had a real arrogance about him and a great on pitch personality - I remember him getting booked once when he'd scored but the ref pulled it up for offside... He walked all the way over to the ref with his hands on his face making "goggles" at him whilst laughing... Hahaa.. The pic of him after scoring away at Wolves in the Cup is an iconic photo!

Huge respect to all those who formed The Trust and put their heads above the parapet from the first signs that things had gone awry! The personal abuse folks suffered whilst continuing to fight for the greater good was beyond what could have been expected of anyone!! Everything was always done calmly and with great consideration for others - we all owe you such a huge thank you - it won't ever be forgotten !! I'm still happily numb with the news from Friday now....

It's a sad situation for sure...do we hope that this happens now in the chance that we are bought for a quid at the 11th hour again (no guarantee that this would be allowed to happen by the way) or just gradually dip down the leagues limping from one deduction to the next - jeez!!! Everything crossed he wakes up one morning and cashes in his chips and takes something and buggers off but that doesn't seem likely now! I think we are just sadly coasting towards a final outcome sooner rather than later as it stands... obviously hoping we come out the other side!! I don't think this would have been reported had it.not been fully checked out by the lads at The Star!!
