Let's Get The Scrubbers Of S2 Sold Out!

Also read that, and improved CCTV/extra stewards ( not teenage females from agencies). Should they start this afore mentioned despicable behaviour, I would hope they are promptly arrested and serverly dealt with by the courts. -

Absolutely, they would be more inclined to behave themselves, if it was policed at the back and front of the upper stand, as opposed to having a few mainly female stewards at the front. -

Was also on the Shoreham that day, didn't hear much from the blades after Curran's "wonder goal" -

Also on their kop that day, singing the blues went on non stop for about 20 minutes after Terry Curran's wonder goal in the 2nd half. Didn't hear much from that lot after the goal -
August 76. I was at the game that night, went down on the Wapentec coach, great celebrations when RW scored that winner. We were in the old 3rd division. Wolves were in the old 1st division and we had just escaped dropping to the old 4th division by the skin of our teeth the previous season. Best result of an average season??

The funniest thing about all this...

From what I've heard he'll l only get a fraction of that, a back street girl on the game would surely have a better business brain!!! -

Exactly the 1966 cup final side was virtually dismantled within 3 years ( including Johnny Ritchie)and mainly replaced with players from the lower leagues !!!!
-
Wasn't it Ay Ya Ya Ya. Springett is better than Yashin. Fantham is better than Eusabio and United are in for a thrashing
-
Fond memories early/mid 70s, other entertainment meaning the stripper's.

4th line. "And United are in for a thrashing". I bloody well wish!!! -
Also there, I remember pinning up a "save our owls" poster in the site cabin on the dronfield bypass where I was working at the time. It was taken down and binned within minutes.

Selling our best two strikers to finance a teenage midfielder, didn't make sense!! Proven two years later when we were relegated
-
Was in the south stand uncovered seats for that game. Beating Chelsea 6-1!! Will we ever witness that again???
-
Yeh think prendo scored first and Eric Potts got the second, as previously mentioned the scenes at the final whistle were amazing including a pitch invasion, you have thought we'd won the old first division.
-
And Mick Prendagast who scored the other goal !!
-
We certainly were a couple of years later after we disposed of the 66/67 teams replacing them with lower league players!!

Also on the kop, programme exhibited proudly in my man cave.

Well done guys, especially the London owls, very impressive, made national and hopefully international news. Surely the clock is ticking now for the clown. -

Well done lads, great effort from all. WAWAW -
Absolutely, strange seeing large gaps in the north stand for the Derby game!!
-
Beating Man U at Hillsborough 5-4 in 1968 when they had Law Charlton and Best on their forward line and had just won the European championship??
-
My uncle took me in the early 60s. Every time Johnny fantham got the ball on the right wing, the entire south stand used to be up on there feet expecting a goal. Hooked line & sinker. Missed the good years 84-93 being overseas ( will never forgive my uncle)!!

Quite correct. Graham Pugh, Jim McCalliog, Sam Ellis , Wilf Smith, teenagers?? Peter Eustace & David Ford 20 years old ?
-
Certainly did and were the first losing finalists to do a lap of honour
