  1. Yep. It's a perfect example of a sunk cost fallacy. But when it comes down to it, some people will just fall on absolutely any excuse they can find to justify doing the thing they want to do.
  2. They already wasted the money. They don't get it back by going. Choosing to break a boycott is literally the definition of a scab.
  3. Every team is a weakened team with SWFC.
  4. That's very nice. I expect it to be wrecked through lack of continual maintenance in short order.
  5. Can't benefit from collective bargaining if the person you are trying to bargain with is hiding in another country trying to pretend he never owned a football club in the first place....
  6. Today in 'alleged journalist copy-pastes the results of their ChatGPT prompt and calls it an article'....
  7. He should sue the club. Playing teenagers, with barely any pre season, that are carrying an injury, is asking for trouble.
  8. As usual someone thinks the new football regulator is overpaid despite the fact that ideally you would want to attract someone who could earn ten times that in the private sector.
  9. What do you think is 'our' level of income? The club's level of income is entirely down to the competence of the owner.
  10. He will attempt to do whatever rakes in as much immediate revenue as possible, in order to eke out another couple of months living hand to mouth at the expense of the club's future. All we can do is continue to boycott all his revenue streams in order to force the final crisis as quickly as possible, because every day he remains at the club, the hole the new owners will have to dig their way out of gets deeper.
  11. Ngl it would be funny as fizz just to see the scabs get upset.
  12. All that matters is getting rid of Chansiri. If it doesn't advance the cause of getting rid of Chansiri, it doesn't make the slightest bit of difference if we win or lose 10-0. In fact, the second is preferable because every time we get pumped, it will put off a few of the scabs from going back next week.
  13. I mean, if you went to the match I kind of WANT you to have had a shitty humiliating afternoon. So, well done probably unpaid remaining SWFC employee, I guess.
  14. The current situation has at least given a chance to a couple of people who might otherwise have struggled to get that last little break of luck required to establish yourself as a professional footballer. The thing is though - as soon as they prove themselves to be worth anything they will be sold for a pittance.
  15. The club would only go to Att anyway.
