  1. With the current playing squad we have (until at least January) .... and with 6 games/matches left until the end of 2025..... What can we change? AWAY from home? At HOME? THOUGHTS? Formation? Away? Starting team...! + Home? Starting team? Have faith in young players more? (Weaver was a real success. So... Thornton and/or Johnson?) HP "holds the cards" I accept..... OR do we just accept not worth worrying about.... until new owner and January ends as we are going down anyway? ****************************** For "example could we look at trying.... AWAY (Blackburn?) 4-4-1-1 Otegbayo* Iorfa Cooper Max Redmond Valery Bannan Amass Ingelsson McNeill (*or Palmer?) Heard Otegbayo played well, but I would play him RB. OR OK swap with Iorfa? Thornton and Johnson deffo to come on around 65 mins.... Fusire on bench.
  2. prowl Take your point fella. HP "sees and feels" what is best. Thornton + Johnson keep being picked on subs bench though.... and I was "suggesting" could be useful Subs around 65 mins? But in HP we trust then.
  3. And I would look at trying....
  4. In my opinion..... Thornton (RWB or right midfield) + Johnson (left side midfield alongside Amass) around 65 mins..... would add some energy around midfield - attack....... Like Weaver, those 2 looked capable to me to at least come on as subs.
  5. How did Otegbayo play? At best.... he might be coached to play RB. Deffo not a CH.
  6. Thornton & Johnson showed enough in Caraboa Cup games (like Weaver!) to justify at least coming on around 65 mins with their youth and energy. OR/+ To Start certain matches....... SO... Valery has to play RWB. Leaving midfield even more weak... BUT Valery RWB AMASS LWB THORNTON Bannan Ingelsson * Although.... we deffo need a ball winning midfielder! Short term though.... suspect Valery continues in the middle + Redmond plays RWB WHEN THEY PLAY TOGETHER THAT IS. As Valery likely to be away on International duty during December......
  7. What will the result be then? Home win? Draw? Away win? Score if you like? Scorers if you like?
  8. Worrying Valery likely to "be away"? Ain't bothered about Fusire tbh. Redmonds fitness levels is the big question. Suspect drafted in at Blackburn? Not great is it? Brown back hopefully b4 Xmas? But I would deffo bring in Thornton +/or Johnson around midfield.
  9. Redmond. Too early to play. Maybe Blackburn away?
  10. Iorfa is banned 1 game. + Brown still injured. Back just b4 Xmas? + Bad news re Bernard. Another operation. Successful. But out till mid February ish.
  11. Redmond likely to be in squad for Blackburn away.
  12. A positive performance at Millwall although second half we were under the cosh & Millwall missed chances. Our Home form is abysmal. We have to try something different, BUT with "limits" on Options though? Iorfa out. Injuries still. Lots of games. I would bring energy and youth into the midfield and interact Valery RWB with Thornton. Johnson + Amass can interact. We will have to rely on a Bannan strike to score I accept. Ingelsson can push forward to support NcNeill. Bailey on bench. We need to stop leaking goals, but it will be difficult with issues we have. Will Smudge + Pol play 4 them? Horvarth Palmer Cooper Max Valery Thornton Johnson Amass Bannan Ingelsson McNeill Subs Jamal Bailey Stretch Otegbayo Fusire Alao Emery ANO THOUGHTS?
  13. Against Preston at home and with such a shocking home record..... and with lots of games.... Horvarth Palmer Cooper Max Valery Thornton Johnson Amass Bannan Ingelsson McNeill
  14. Positives much improved Bannan near wonder goal Hit woodwork twice BUT were under the cosh 2nd half * Horvath: 7 saved us 2 goals Iorfa: 6 "clumsy". Better at RB. Cooper: 6 will be useful Max: 6 looked tired to me Fusire: 4 - not a RB. Not good enough Amass: 7 what a player. But tired. Valery: 6 play him RWB. Looked tired. Bannan: 8 mom energy energy fight McNeill: 6 hit & miss. Play him again Ingelsson: 6 energy but so erratic Cadamarteri: 4 not happening
  15. Seeing "youth" in the side/squad, balanced with experience as in Bannan... etc is good.... this season we have seen.... Amass - what a future he has Brown Weaver Pierce Charles Bailey kind of but work to do... + I like the look of Johnson + Thornton + maybe another one or two coming thro
  16. Not heard injury updates on..... Kobacki? "Crock" Chalobah too?
  17. Deserved a point just about for effort + 3 great near misses. More chances....
  18. And.... Thornton + Johnson for me should be playing more...... McNeill still lacking, but better than Ugbo for sure. Bailey not impressing yet.... (Brown better.....)
  19. Looking ahead..... new year.... Bernard back Brown back P. Charles back + A new midfielder surely b4 Xmas? + NEW owners + January hopefully we can bring in a free agent or two????
  20. Thornton + Johnson came on at the end. I've been campaigning for them to come on around 65 mins or play? I am confused though.... as several of you have said we can't play them? confused.com Thoughts please ?
  21. Hit the bar Hit the post Effort in 4 sure
  22. We are so so stretched now
  23. Millwall ain't that good. Poor first half. Yes got on top second.
