  1. As a musician, I want to add something from a musical point of view. One of the biggest issues is that the band will often jump into leading a song in a completely different key to the one the crowd has already started. When that happens, it kills the natural momentum because everyone has to suddenly adjust and it puts people off joining in. It changes the feel and flow of the chant completely. They are also incredibly loud on the Kop which means the Kop naturally ends up following whatever the band plays. That leaves the North Stand and sometimes South singing at a different tempo or even a different point of the song. So the atmosphere becomes split instead of unified and it all ends up feeling quite artificial rather than organic crowd noise. To be fair to them they are good at lifting things when it goes quiet and they can get something going that might not have started otherwise. The issue is mainly when a song has already been started in the crowd and they come in over the top in a totally different key or tempo which shuts down the natural flow. I am not anti band and I understand why they are there, but from a musical and atmosphere perspective those issues really do affect participation and the natural energy in the ground.
  2. When you pay on card in there it shows as Sheffield Wednesday on your bank statement…
  3. The current atmosphere isn’t really appropriate for a band, really. Their best move would be to go on strike until he’s gone.
  4. Bannan has to play further forward. He was so deep today. We need to accept that we don’t have any wingers and play more narrow, with Bannan in a more advanced role. We desperately need a playmaker and he’s the best we have.
  5. Max Lowe man of the match for our team EASY. He’s a class above everyone else we have.
  6. I didn’t say it couldn’t happen. But some people don’t want to put their mental health at risk for the small chance it does. The point I'm making is that we don’t know other people’s stories and judging others and almost bullying people to not go to the game / buy anything at the ground is not appropriate. Fighting with each other is simply not on. The bloke who was escorted out left his 8 year old child in the stadium after they witnessed him shouting and swearing for ten minutes. Great example.
  7. You don’t know the reasons that many people go…it’s a lifeline for many. You can’t just have one rule for all.
  8. Charles: 8. His distribution is immense. Valery: 6 Otegbayo: 5 looked physically struggling at times. Iorfa: 6 M. Lowe: 7 Palmer: 6 average Fusire: 6 tidy player, has potential Ingelsson: 8 worked his socks off Bannan: 7.5 carries so much for the team J. Lowe: 6 I just don’t see what he contributes Cadamarteri: 7.5 just needs better service McNeill: 7 Ugbo: 7.5 looked up for it Kobacki: 7.5 brought energy and drive Johnson: 7 Weaver: 7 L. Smith (ref): 6
  9. What about the Wednesday tap? Does thornbridge rent the space or is it operated by the club?
  10. The only club that folded in the top two tiers of English football was Leeds city in 1919.
  11. Wanted to say something after today. We’ve seen owners come and go at this club. This situation will pass too, one way or another. What we don’t need right now is turning on each other. Whether someone decides to go to the match, stays away, buys a shirt, or grabs a KitKat in the ground, that’s their decision. We’ve all got our own reasons, and it’s not for anyone else to judge. Saw two separate altercations today between fans, and honestly, it was completely unnecessary. We’re all hurting in different ways, emotions are running high. I get it. But we have to remember who we are and how lucky we actually are in many ways. We’ve still got a club, we’ve still got each other, and we still have those blue and white stripes in our blood. Let’s not lose sight of what really matters. Stick together. Respect each other’s choices. And remember, it’s us lot who will be here long after everything else has changed. UTO
  12. Absolutely nobody at kiosks on north stand.
  13. They do that with all the shirts on the photos. Guessing it’s because of copyright or something. They all come with the brand names
