  1. Does anyone know how/where to access information regarding clubs current and extrapolated positions regarding FFP?
  2. I’d definitely be looking to keep both Bannan and Palmer, but probably in hybrid transitional roles, building towards the next stage in their careers with us as coaches, be that in the first team or with the Academy, which will hopefully be in expansionist mode with new owners. Lighten the load for them re numbers of appearances, but both will easily cut it in L1 when called upon. Can’t understand anyone saying either should be just let go… One of the wounds which this club carries is from the way in which former players have been treated. Time to learn lessons, show some respect and build towards the future without turning our backs on our history and community.
  3. Keep. He puts a shift in, usually looks to be positive, and has the added bonus of his long throw ability.
  4. That’s true, but also very different to what our situation would be. The London Stadium was originally designed and built as an athletics stadium, with the outcome being the stands are too far from the pitch, which has killed the atmosphere. Better examples of purpose built football grounds are Spurs and Everton. But I do agree that history, tradition, and local businesses need to be centre stage in any considerations of moving.
  5. Anyone know what time the Foundation lounge opens?
  6. You called?
  7. Yeah, you’re right. Sorry about that. Talking about football on a football forum. Don’t know what came over me…
  8. More like 'Spot The Defensive Wall'. Bit harsh on Lumley, too, as he set up the position of the wall, but got a few "shoulda saved it from there" type negative comments from people sat near me.
  9. Apologies for introducing a negative note into this forum at the moment, but here's a screenshot of the moment that BB and JL decided to do an impersonation of a welcome mat for Oxfords second goal. My years of expertise in advanced coaching methodologies leads me to conclude that the best approach in this particular passage of play is...... Just. Stand. Still.
  10. Sounds a bit weird.... The day before the club went into admin, he was still the 'Big Man'. Staff at the club didn't really have much of a track record in saying "No" to him.
  11. As a potential fundraiser though, it might help the interim financial position?
  12. And how about killing two birds with one stone, and inviting Hirsty along as a guest of honour?
  13. 'Seats spelling out Chansiri's name in the North Stand at Hillsborough were removed on Friday afternoon.' There is a God.
  14. First time I can recall an ex-pro giving a player pelters for lack of effort.
  15. The best way to support the young lads tonight is by getting rid of our owner. Full. Stop.
  16. If we do go into Admin, then the Trust, local MP's, fanbase etc need to bring as much pressure as possible to bear in order to prevent the possibility of a pre-pack stitch-up.
  17. Whatever happened to Baz?
  18. "The EFL confirmed that a hearing date has been set" When? Is the date 'secret'?
  19. Remember going up there to see us play in a friendly, and being served a ‘Loyalist Burger’ in the concourse
  20. As a season ticket holder, I support the decision by the Trust to fully boycott the 'Boro game and, much as it stings, will not be going. But I would also like to hear something from the Trust regarding direct media-friendly action towards the EFL and the incoming Football Regulator. Basing protesting solely on home games is ok, but will only go so far, especially with an absentee owner. A mass demo outside the office of the new FR, with MP's in attendance, blue flares, megaphone, and tv, radio etc in attendance would surely be appropriate?
