  1. Just hope we don't end up with another "ghost of Presto".
  2. Just had a walk down to the corner shop. On a plus, on street match parking seems very light. Quite a few folks walking down towards the ground; not a black & gold scarf to be seen.
  3. I think there's still a lot of forelock tugging going on with some sections of the fan base.
  4. Wouldn't the EFL be better, and have more of an impact, by withholding the TV rights money they get from the Premier League?
  5. Rarely watch any Premier League football nowadays. I'm that out of touch, that when England played in the last tournament, they started the first game with three players I'd never heard of.
  6. Early Bird Tickets Sounds like something that Jeffrey Epstein handed out to Trump and his pals at one of his parties.
  7. After watching yesterday's performance, I think we're just 8 or 9 players short of having a decent team.
  8. My first ever game. Set the tone for most of the subsequent 50 years.
  9. It wouldn't surprise me if Charlatan is already on to his lawyers, complaining about one club interfering with the affairs of another. I suspect the EFL, will bend pretty quickly. Think of those headlines if it went to court though!
  10. Two reasons. Never heard it before. It was rubbish.
  11. Why do people keep calling him a business man? He obviously isn't.
  12. £7k as a player, £7k as a coach, £7k as a recruitment advisor, £7k as kit man. Wages pretty much the same as last year.
  13. Why is the fit & proper person test a one-off? Shouldn't it be reviewed every couple of years?
  14. That will be difficult as lots of paperwork was lost in the Great Flood os 2024, some in the Inferno of 2025, and the remainder in the terrible earthquake of 2026.
  15. I suspect it would be easy for the SWFC players, but the opposites, or wider football pyramid - difficult.
  16. Isn't it about time that the PFA got properly involved and instructed their members to withdraw their labour. I'm sure there would be plenty of folk who would happily join a picket line.
  17. He'll have that framed, put on his wall and say "Look, the British Government are writing to me, see how important I am."
  18. A significant matchday income stream tor the club this season is likely to be from the visiting away fans. What is the likelihood of a "Stay Away" campaign gaining any traction through the other clubs in the league?
  19. Not attending will send a message. Will he care, I doubt it. Lack of income will concentrate his mind. Attend, don't spend.
  20. Let's assume that refunds are going to be difficult. The best way then to hit Chansiri in the pocket is for all season ticket holders to turn up for every match and spend nothing at the ground. No revenue from programs, concessions, lottery draws; but maximum expense on policing, stewarding, and ground services. Especially so if protests are well organised and supported. But we know that there will be a sizable section of the crowd who will carry on as normal, regardless.
  21. He wouldn't have factored in the 10 to 20% fee that they're probably asking for
  22. Not me, but someone I worked with. Took him a long time to loose his army head and get a civvie one. Made for some memorable nights out.
  23. The seven "P's". Proper Planning and Preparation Prevents Peee Poor Performance I think we have the last three nailed.
