I think the Championship as a whole is very poor this season. Including Coventry there has been no TEAM that has impressed me too much.

I am basing it on the fact they proposed to build a new Training ground somewhere in Ecclesfield last season. All we have heard from the others is Naff all, which with NDA's is acceptable. The other's, Texor, Ashley and Howsam either have no experience of running a sports club or carry a lot of baggage. Either way it is a gamble.

Of all the names mentioned in pursuit of the Club, I have only heard Adam Shaw's consortium come out with a plan for the future of the club. On that basis I would favour them, but it is not down to me.

That is my fear with Howsam. He knows as much about running a Football club as Daftjon did. We could be jumping out of the frying pan, into the fire.

IF we are allowed to sign any players in Jan, we can begin the process of collecting the 16+ players we will need next season. Don't bother loaning players from the Prem who will not be here next season, but IF we go down that road, Loan players we can sign in the summer and notify any player or agent of our interest in the summer.

Sadly, Ugbo is the only alternative to Cadz and Brown. They are the only 3 Forwards we have at the moment.

The last good side we had was the 1996/97 season when we finished 7th in the Prem. Only one fancy dan footballer, Carbone, and we frightened the likes of Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool. All I want to see are players who know their job: A Goalkeeper in the nets, not a midfield general. Defenders who actually know the basics of defending and clear their lines when under pressure. A Midfield with energy, presence stamina and passing ability. Forwards with Pace, Strength, power and an eye for goal and who do not come back into the defence. Simple easy football, not the passing out of defence rubbish.

I agree, I dont like losing, but we accepted that we were down in August, before a ball was kicked. As you say, we had our result of the season 4 weeks ago, just get this season out of the way and look forward with confidence.
