We're witnessing the final nail in the football coffin as we know it. It will be a relief if it happens in a way, I can finally throw in the towel. Years of hanging on with FFP, VAR, courtroom drama and all the other crap. It's been exhausting to follow. How fitting that the hammer is in the hands of a corrupt, morally bankrupt c*nt.

Not sure if you're being serious but he wasn't caught doing it and charged, so it's essentially hot air from his autobiography. It's a different matter if he was caught doing it, would have been big news at the time. Maybe not enough impact to rule him out of being a club ambasdador but then again, im not sure what importance that role has on anything.

Brazilian Ronaldo is my favourite player of all time (easily) but you can't put him ahead of Messi. Had it not been for his injury he would most likely be sitting top of the list with few arguments. As it is, he just wasn't able to perform to the level of a 'greatest of all time' for long enough. I don't understand how anyone can put Ronaldinho above Messi either.

I never judge managers in interviews and press conferences, can you imagine having to answer the same inane questions 20 times a day? And having to give reactions to mostly, purely made up rubbish that lazy journos spew out daily. Or being asked to comment on sensitive or legal issues they clearly can't comment on but still ask again and again. I'm amazed everyone isn't like Jose or Big Nige, I know I certainly would be.

Very much looks like we are going down the young, unknown youth route with our recruitment, something I for one am happy about. It's clear the most sustainable way to be a competitive Championship club and eventually get out of this league (for non parachute payment clubs) is to get lucky in the transfer market and end up selling a few prospects for silly money. We need to offset the costs of building a competitive side. Bruce & Jos both knew this, hopefully DC now does also. How's about we give our current manager a chance to see if he can do this? This needs 3 or 4 transfer windows and medium term planning, let's at least give the bloke 1 window with no background noise of the EFL incompetence and interference.

His time was up but I don't look back hysterically like the owlstalk myth tells me to. He did a moderately decent job in that first season and it went horrifically wrong in the 2nd in the space of about 10 games. There are things behind the scenes we will never know about. I liked the opportunities he gave to the young lads. Overall, unremarkable, ambilvalence.

I never said you were, I don't know you, there are some on here that actively thrive on the manager merry go round, like they can't wait to change managers just for the sake of change, that only support a manager when things are going well, and call for their head after a dodgy 5 game run, if that sounds familiar then yes. The fact you point out comments started in February highlights the point, we were 3rd after 23 games! it's insanity and yes petulant. I'm not going to start bigging up Monks previous record as partly it's irrelevant and partly, like I said, i'm not his biggest fan myself. The reasons I would give him time are the many constraints he's had to deal with, no money to spend, an ageing past it's sell by date squad that's needed freshening up for at least 2 years, many players out of contract that clearly wanted out. There is also the fact he hasn't (been allowed!?) to bring any coaching staff or help and the effect of the off field drama. Hopefully most of these constraints are now gone.
