Agreed. I was a Windass fan but he did choose to terminate his contract & play no part in the fight for the future of Sheffield Wednesday. It was his right, but there are plenty of players still at Hillsborough that could have made the same choice but didn't. Wasn't the original Walton story saying that they'd offered £100m for the club? As that was Chansiris asking price & the story went nowhere it does sound like Red Bull, but without the Red. Would love a new owner of that profile and unimaginable pocket depth, but I dont believe the story.

I read this morning that whilst the Norwich & Pigs matches remained at Chansiri prices, the Administrators were looking to package future tickets in a different way. Hopefully they are looking to reduce the prices from Preston onwards or maybe bundling tickets together so that there is a discount for multiple purchases. I'm sure that we'll soon see.

Not bothered either way, but this sounds like nonsense to me. Textor and his co investors would have to be proper mugs to pay in the region of £400m for what is potentially a Championship team next season. It would be a huge risk to part with such a sum with only 1 transfer window available to save the season. They clearly aren't mugs so imo it's rubbish.

I think the range of opinions here answers the OPs question. Until we know exactly how Admin plays out for Chansiri why would any Wednesday fan risk putting money in the turds pocket? Maintain the boycott until we know for sure - and imo that means away fixtures too.
