I remember going on the kop and standing with all friends in the same place in came seating and everyone dispersed. Kinda fell out with football for a while. Still went every now again but never got the same feeling. After about 10 years I started to watch non league at Stocksbridge, and found the love again, mainly because I could watch the game from where I wanted to do, but also you could talk to oppostion supporters as well, although at times its got heated. Add that its cheap £80 for a season ticket £3 odd a game and £2 pint depends what you drink made everything seem resaonable. Even been away £7 on coach and thats to Whitby (fish n chips) and Blyth Spartans. Even though I still support Wednesday I can no longer afford it.But I still want to watch live football and give the ref my thoughts!!! Its not an alternative but a substitute just like methadone, not quite the same but still gives you the kick.
