Avoided calling this the “post new owners 11” or “post January transfer window 11” as I imagine any new signings would be frees or loans, so not heavily dependant on significant investment (i.e big statement from new owners)
But moving into 2026, as we move through a transitional phase, what do we expect the starting 11 to look like?
Assuming some of the high profile clubs are impressed with how we’ve handled Amass, we may see 3/4 new loan players come in? With the addition of a couple more free transfers
Is there any point in investing in loan players or aging free agents? Would it be better to target players that are going to play a part next season? Or is it a case of trying to save face and get in whoever we can?
