Going off this… The Star understands that among the first team figures whose deals are up at the end of the current campaign is midfielder Svante Ingelsson. The 27-year-old has played a vital role since the exodus of other players in the summer and has played out his 16 Championship appearances with great credit and appreciation from the Wednesday fan base. It is not known at this stage whether his deal includes an extension clause.
