Trust Call For Full Boycott Against Middlesbrough
cfox198 replied to TZOwl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Personally think a bigger impact would be to total boycott a traditional 3pm game on a Saturday. Attendances are lower midweek anyway and would think many fans would be boycotting Middlesbrough game on there own accord to watch on TV without the trust calling for it -
Trust Call For Full Boycott Against Middlesbrough

Should be boycotting the Oxford game over some midweek game on tv which many season ticket holders wouldn't bother going to anyway. -
Has leeds sold out for tomorrow
cfox198 replied to Mike Jones's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Should have called for a boycott for a couple of the upcoming home league games instead and encouraged season ticket holders not to turn up. Not having potg fans paying full whack and the cost of having all 4 stands open with no STH attending whould have hit him more I think and would have been something all fans could have got behind. Cost of running tomorrow's game now probably similar to that of a papa johns game and doesn't really matter how many turned up is just a bit extra income he's from tickets, TV and prize money from EFL he wouldn't have had if we had lost to Bolton. -
Until the home games get more hostile then I can't see a boycott of away games. A full away end protesting and making themselves heard for 90 minutes is going to gain more publicity than not buying a pint at Hillsborough, but then sitting though the match in silence.

My father in law always buys a bovril and pie at the ground so today instead I pre heated a pie a home to bring with us and made up a flask of bovril for him so he wouldn't miss out on his usual match day routine

Shea charles is a wednesday fan
cfox198 replied to Thewednesdayway000's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Yeah he was outside the turnstiles at kick off so probably missed first 15 mins -
Another reason why we have only played them 5 times since we last beat them is for the 5 years United had in league one We've played them 20 times since 2000, Wednesday have won 6, United won 6 and 8 have been draws which is not bad to say United would have probably been favourites in all but maybe 1 or 2 games since then.

Danny Röhl the only Manager to get away with this....

Atmosphere wasn't even that bad the other night. Would have been a lot worse atmospheres at other grounds in the Championship this week and doubt it will be better when we play Norwich away midweek in March. -
Nottingham Forest away in 2015/16 I still think is the best we played during that season and really thought after that game we were going up

Sheffield Wednesday's best ever penalty takers?
cfox198 replied to @owlstalk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Yes, we have been in two penalty shoot outs this season in the league cup. I don't think we have not been awarded a penalty though since Smiths vs Peterbrough. -

No reason to form a Phoenix club just go and support one of the already existing clubs in our area who would welcome our support. Sheffield FC, Hallam, Handsworth, Stockbridge, Stavely etc

Jos wasn't even that bad took over an injury hit squad and had to play youth team but kept us up completely. Then had a good start in 18/19 and in the got in top 6 at one point before a bad run of 1 win in 10 were he lost it. Gary Monk had a good start as well was top 3 at Christmas but then the players didn't get paid then had to deal with the points deduction Would take either over Xisco been our worst by far -
Don't know why they can't just go back to season tickets 1st phase, members 2nd and then general sale now we're in championship. Cardiff made general sale would expect other games would this season even Leeds will if prices are correct. Just use priority points for certain games like play offs, relegation deciders etc.

Darren Moore is the least of Wednesdays problems
cfox198 replied to MF TAZ's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Luhukay has won multiple promotions including winning the Bundesliga 2nd division twice Monk had Swansea finish in 8th in premier league and got us to top 3 in Championship before not getting paid Pulis took Stoke City to premier league and kept them there for years Moore has two League One Play semi final defeats -
Everyone knows before the season the only way to guarantee promotion is finish top 2. If there where more reward to finish 3rd it would be a different season. Barnsley would have probably put more pressure on to catch us once they confirmed top 6 and we would have had more pressure to stay 3rd once top 2 where unachievable for us. I do think the play offs should be over one leg with the team who finished higher at home and I don't understand what advantage you get playing the away leg first.

Simple question for all SWFC fans
cfox198 replied to @owlstalk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Probably not but in terms of points and wins we finished with 93 points and 28 wins in 2011/12. We are currently on 93 points and 27 wins this season so it's not like we have not achieved it before in this division. -

Priority points werent even used in our last spell in League one they just went on sale to all season ticket holders first but had no problem getting tickets for likes of Bristol Rovers, Yeovil, Exeter, Dagenham etc. The system was only brought in after the brentford away game in 2012 when everyone wanted a ticket and many fans who went away all season missed out. Used to rembember having to send ticket stubs to apply for a ticket for sheff u away, they could do something simular now its all on system. Certain big games you apply for and is based on points, and certain games are on sale to all season ticket holders, members etc and then will have some away season ticket holders.

When he first came in remember him commenting how unfit we were, think we started well under him but burned out at the end. The following season we started ok considering the off pitch problems at the time and would have been top of the league at Christmas we only had beat Exeter away. Obviously we lost 5 - 1 and then the Orient and Yeovil games were soon after which were the same time as Milan coming in so was never going to last.
