Rules are there for a reason. If they are unfair then the clubs collectively should change them. We have broken them (several times over) and we should take it on the chin not go around bleating like a blade...

Like many have said, 6 weeks ago I would have snapped your hand off for Ashley. I don't think he will be bad for us from a business POV. What bothers me is that he will view fans as customers. Same as tagnut did.

When the initial ball was played through he could have been decisive and committed to clearing it but he hesitated and then back tracked. After that yes no chance. Earned us a point at the end though. We had enough good chances to score 4 tonight.

He was caught in 2 minds and decided (wrongly) to stay put. that said the defending / tracking back wasn’t great
