Are Villa one of the clubs not signed up to iFollow though?

Lets not forget, we brought CC in as a DoF/coach initially. He was brilliant, and we were all charmed. But, not a long term 'manager'. PS https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sheffield-Wednesday-sticker-Jos-Luhukay-JOS-WE-CAN/183029460828

Sheffield Wednesday 1987-89 pinstripe home shirt
thoß replied to @owlstalk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I've got that shirt but its match worn by Mel Sterland. Paid £60 on eBay about 10 years ago. -
That's what she said.

I think this whole going straight to the supplier thing has created its own problems. My Mrs works for a fashion brand and reckons this sort of process would take at least 6 months.

Aye, was a tight arse so booked the cheap non-refundable hotel option! Should be a scorcher in London anyway.

The Owls vs Huddersfield Town. Official Matchday Thread.

Bought my first ST at 16. If someone had of told me it would be another 16 years before we have a chance of going up I wouldn't have believed it. Not many clubs have been through what we have in recent years (and survived without going into admin). This means so much more to us than most fans of other clubs out there. COME ON WEDNESDAY!!!! -

Paul Tierney Ref for Sunday

Thought he was decent on Boxing Day, didn't fall for Newcastle players diving all over the shop.- 30 replies

People absorb sound so maybe they cranked it up due to the large crowd yesterday. I agree though, in general the PA is way too loud and distorted.

Away leg - just planning what to do; fancy watching it in a pub in city centre but I know from experience that not many places even like football colours, never mind showing the actual match. Might head up Rawson Spring but I know it'll be packed. Any ideas? Home leg - ST seat on Kop

We should have cleared it well before Tomlin got on the ball for the pen. How that fat lump was a handful against us I'll never know.
-
Great read. Some of the comments underneath branding him a thug are a bit short sighted. If you actually watch him, he always tries to play the ball, he doesn't run round kicking people. He's very honest too, never makes a meal of challenges on him, which he could do given his injury record. His range of passing is decent and he's good in the air.

Pubs in City Centre showing game
thoß replied to Lord Nilsson's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
This sort of thing really gets my goat with Sheffield. You go to other cities with more than one club and the city centre pubs take pride in showing the match. Remember being in Birmingham before we played Birmingham City and a Villa match was on TV before hand and it was packed out and not a whiff of trouble. Can't imagine places like Manchester not showing Utd or City in pubs in the centre for fear of it kicking off. It's just so over the top, even pre-owls match in Sheffield city centre I'm made to feel like a hooligan by pubs in Division St, Eccy Rd etc for wearing colours... -
URGENT - WE NEED TO STOP THE TRANSFER OF SAM WINNALL
thoß replied to @owlstalk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I actually really like the jacket, bet it cost a fair whack. -
This has been making me laugh too. We're only 3 points behind them and we all know we've not been great. Leeds' squad isn't deep enough for me to last, especially given the tempo they're playing at. Let them think they're world beaters and watch the pressure build on them.
-
Thought he was excellent too. Yes, we did probably foul them a lot but he saw throuh their player's play acting to get us booked. The added time was justified tbf, usually its 30 secs added on for a goal and sub plus the 'treatment' for Wallace and Fletcher was at least a minute each.
-
He's got twitter remember, SWFC fans all love a moan on there...

Loads of reasons; the end of terraces, the game being more family orientated now, more restrictions on booze, generally less people at games because of cost and TV. The atmosphere of the modern game has taken a hit for all that and probably more I can't think of. Not just restricted to Wednesday but maybe just more noticeable when you compare to those old clips.
