    It might be just me. But I wouldn’t consider donating millions of my own money to a fan base that turns up when it suits. We’ve been brilliant since administration, it will be a shame to throw it all away now.

    I think you need to check the rules before commenting. Nobody is allowed a controlling interest in two EPL and/or EFL clubs. That’s why the administrators dismissed it out of hand.

    My fear is that he’d have us playing in a two sided stadium in a couple of years. I’ve no confidence in him spending a penny on infrastructure. He will also be at war with the fans in short order. A Chansiri, but with cash.

    When I used to knock about down there as a kid. There was a bridge over the Don behind the dog track. Just checked it’s still there.

    No mate, the plan is to use the old Woodhead line, creating a completely new tram route, servicing Kelham, Neepsend, Hillsborough College, Wadsley Bridge, Oughtibridge, Wharncliffe Side, Deepcar and Stocksbridge.

    There are plans to run trams on the line out to Stocksbridge. That would run yards from 3 of the locations suggested in this thread.

    That site is highly contaminated. However, I’ve been told earlier this afternoon, that this site that has been discussed with the council. The possibility of the council subsidising the decontamination costs was raised.

    I think they’ve been given a tip that it will. Nobody is going to pay over £30m to standstill for 18 months. Well Chansiri probably would, but I’m talking about serious business people.
