  1. Brilliant, cheers. Proper blast from the past
  2. 1997? Don’t remember the match all that well, but Italy had an incredible team back then
  3. I like him. Big fan of footballers who don’t look like they should be footballers (usually cos they’re massive)
  4. I’d like Eze on for Rogers and see what he can do. Also agree with the other posts about Anderson, looks like a superb player
  5. That’s qualification sorted then, could go on to get 4 or 5 here if they fancy it
  6. Agreed on Thorniley, don’t recall him ever really putting a foot wrong for us and thought we could’ve done worse than keeping him on. He’s had a steady career at L1 level but thought he looked good enough to play one division higher at least. I thought McGuinness looked like a future PL centre half when we had him but his career’s obviously a write-off now he’s at that lot.
  7. Haven’t been the same since they stopped playing with a flat pack four IMO
  8. Done pretty well since he moved to Man City though
  9. Beautiful weather up at Sandygate this afternoon and a crowd of 1004! The match itself was a bit drab and finished 1-1, with Hallam having a late goal ruled out for offside.
  10. Looked like there were loads of empty seats at Wembley
  11. Money to pay for legal advice but not for staff wages. Scum
  12. Absolutely. They’re relying on FIFA to do the right thing for the game instead of chase loads of money, good luck with that one.
  13. Didn’t realise we’d signed David Jones again and he’d taken a massive pay cut
  14. Barcelona and Milan have both been allowed to play a league game overseas this season, Barca are playing in Miami and Milan in Australia. UEFA say they’ve agreed to it “reluctantly” because there’s currently no legal power to stop it under FIFA regs, completely ridiculous and sets a worrying precedent.
