No ones excited for league one, but managing to extract a negative flounce from the incredibly positive end of the C******i era is quite an achievement.

Totally agree, hope we are wrong but agree they will get tired. However even in the recent past we would have been able to mix in a couple of youngsters with experienced players for extended periods but have only given them cameos.

Been interesting to see how our U21/Academy players are doing. Begs the question was bringing in journeymen pros ahead of giving some of better players from previous groups a decent run the right strategy ? (Puts on tin hat)

This, it keeps the protests in the public eye, an empty Hillsborough every other week is a protest an empty(ish) away end is “normal” for many clubs. It also keeps a connection between fans and the players/staff. -

sheffielddart replied to Lord Snooty's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Great performance by everyone, players, manager, coaches, and fans. Thought there was a lot of quality play, players looked comfortable on the ball, confident in the tackle and not afraid to take a man on. Huge congratulations to all and especially to Ike Ugbo who clearly enjoyed being give the captains armband. -
