Why is everyone getting their knickers in a twist?
MBMitchell replied to shandypants's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I don't see why everyone is stressing, they are assessing the bids, it'll be around 5th Dec, though I'm sure I heard somewhere it could be later. I don't know if it's since Kris said the Walton's aren't one of them, people seem to be losing their poo. We as fans can't now particularly change everything, the bids have been rendered and it is what is and time will tell. -
I've always liked McNeil, probably after his goals Vs Hull and his scoring past with man u. I can't remember game but I think he dropped 3 clangers and disappeared again. What I would say out of him and cadz, McNeil will play at a better level out of the two.

We really need you all now
MBMitchell replied to shandypants's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I enjoyed today, but it was my first game back. Anyway, as for post Christmas, I'll have to see prices before I can comment after this bundle is up. As enjoyable as it was, it is still an expensive day with food and drink too. So if it's 50 quid for me, a 12 and 14 year old it'll be pick and choose which games we fancy -
We got our 4 match pack, and are excited to return tomorrow Regardless of how many are going. The amount of money shelled out since he left can't keep being spent by all fans

Mike Ashley makes £20 mil offer to buy club 🙄
MBMitchell replied to notsowiseowl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I'd have him People seem to have this amazing thing of the Walton's taking over, they aren't interested. Say what you want, but he would run us probably and would then sell us on imo for a profit, which means he's done a good job -
I have bought three sets of the packages (2 x u17) Haven't been to Hillsborough for 2 years and much longer for a league fixture. Looking forward to it as are my lads. 173 with booking and postage, felt a bit much for what we will get, but I said we'd return when dickface left Deliberately missed the derby match at channers prices to get our asses kicked Up the owls

I didn't find that embarrassing, TBF I would have left after the third as I would have had no wish to see them celebrating the win. I think we've scored three goals at home all season in the league, regardless of what we have left after the selling of merchandise in the summer, that is still appalling I wanted some hirst type challenges, some fire, some desire , some die to stop the ball Instead we got nothing imo, it was easy for them to contain us and just play around us at times
-
This is the bit that worried me TBF When it was a million to sigh him, I thought it was worth the risk as he did so well the season before. When it started creeping up more and more, I said no we shouldn't sign him for that amount. I suppose on the flip side, his transfer fee etc helped to get rid of Chansiri 3 million sooner, so maybe it was the best signing ever????
-
I expected a loss, hence why I passed on going today at Chansiri prices. What I did expect, is passion, heavy challenges to unsettled them, defenders running, being able to string more than 3 passes together What I did expect more than anything is to have a shot on target in a home match against 3rd from bottom of the league

🦉 v ⚔️ The Steel City Derby: Official Matchday Thread
MBMitchell replied to ReginaldD's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Horvarth FFS, that was down his throat -
Ok mate I miss him and would love him to be in that team tomorrow, I know I would have left as fast as he did in the summer, well that's a lie, as I would have gone well before that. He said it's just another day at swfc, that in itself tells me enough Windass was amazing for us, yes he sometimes went missing, but for the big games like tomorrow he was always there, how we miss him now.

This photograph epitomises SWFC

I remember seeing this years ago and wondered if they had made the roof virtually the same size so they could do this -
I'll keep my eyes open, I don't expect to get in for unrealistic twenty's plenty every game prices and would have bought 3 games, but with the 4 ticket deal it's cheaper and ill go to the other one now too

Does anyone know when they are available for binners with low points?? My lads keep asking and it's doing my nut in. We stayed away for last season, so I have just ten for Coventry away in cup
-
Leave and have a very busy Greggs etc at dinner time like derby We aren't in the 1920s anymore, as much as I love Hillsborough, we Wednesday fans need dragging and screaming in the 2020s. We sat back mainly and let him destroy us, we need to get with the world and realise life and football has moved on from 60 years ago

Pending the return of Charles
MBMitchell replied to owls about that's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
He has had some good games, but he has had more bad games I wouldn't want to keep him if we have a choice, but if it's kids or him as our second, then I'd have him. Can't see him having a huge wage tbf -
I haven't been able to attend a game yet since his departure, we have 3 pencilled in to get us to the end of the year So that's my extra cash that will be coming in, and I dare say their will be others like me So I'm sure we will keep getting extra cash coming in, with bigger crowds than years

Fantasising // Stadium Upgrades
MBMitchell replied to UDMURT's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I work next to the new York stadium, and I don't see what's the issue with bowls?? As long as it would be big enough for us, the latest comforts, then I'm all for it. I've been to plenty of these bowls and I don't see the big hate -

BREAKING: just days from a winding-up order over tax bill
MBMitchell replied to MattP's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Maybe it's just I can't ever see there being an end to his reign and the depression that hangs over s6, so anything which is spoken about positively, I just think that it won't happen as I can't imagine a wonderful future without him at the helm and we will be forever stuck with him till we are no more -
BREAKING: just days from a winding-up order over tax bill
MBMitchell replied to MattP's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Well I did think that when I typed it, I suppose the point I was making was that before the winding up order is complete and we go splat, can't he opt for admin and get some cash back I know nothing about this, but yes I know HMRC is dead or alive -
Meh It's like trying to cover a hole in a dam with paper and sticky glue I just want it all over one way or another, I'll watch but I'll sit there emotionless whatever happens
