  1. To be fair that kind of backs up what I said really. It’s in ‘his’ best personal interest and ‘his’ best financial interest because ‘he’ wants something out of it. I don’t think for one moment he was thinking of anything but ‘his’ best interests and I don’t think he was putting us fans or the future of the club itself at the forefront of his decision making.
  2. There’s no way DC did anything for it to be in the best interest of Sheffield Wednesday and its fans. No chance at all in my eyes.
  3. It’s true to an extent, but when there’s 73 fans sat in the away end it takes the shine off it a little.
  4. Sorry, didn’t know Brad’s dad was going to be reading. Someone else that doesn’t realise that a forum is about opinions. Like I think you sound like a c.un.t. Just my opinion, but pretty sure I’m right.
  5. Brad Jones is the worst goalkeeper I’ve ever seen in my life. Truly awful. And then went on to sign for Liverpool (pretty sure) which was mental.
  6. Play offs are slipping away aren’t they
  7. Hillsborough, no question. Needs some money spending on it obviously but still won’t be as much as it would to build a new stadium on some soulless industrial estate.
  8. Disagree. A 15,000 crowd and a half full stadium, while we know is crazy for a Derby game, doesn’t particularly have the wow factor. Thousands of people on the pitch resulting in the game being abandoned does!
  9. Everyone on the pitch. Match abandoned
  10. Don’t fall down them will you Ian
  11. I stopped reading your general posts Ian because you were boring the absolute shiiiite out of me. Naturally I’m going to read a post where you’ve quoted and responded to me. Safe travels home from the match Ian.
  12. If there’s one thing that Chansiri definitely is not….it’s honourable!
  13. To be fair I stopped reading your posts as I was getting sick of them to be honest. If someone is going to the match tonight, if they haven’t been spouting off about it they won’t have received any flack. If they have been spouting off about it they surely didn’t expect people who are sacrificing going not to think they’re selfish. As I said, it’s a one off game where fans have been asked to come together. If someone doesn’t want to then that’s up to them. But the majority of people are going to think that it’s a selfish act and there’s a good chance they’re going to voice their opinions. Many people not going aren’t because they feel their club is at stake.
  14. It’s not so much ‘the trust’ is it. They have a platform to reach fellow Wednesday fans. A full boycott has been called for, for good reason, and the vast majority of fans are on board with it. It’s live on sky, it’s a statement more than anything for the world to see, for Chansiri to see. It’s not so much about ‘well I’ve already paid for my season ticket so he won’t be getting any money’. Yes, the no pound in the ground etc is the most important factor, but on this one occasion, just one, it’s a statement. A visual statement that could be very powerful. That should signify a stance and a coming together of Wednesday supporters to say enough is enough. Either you don’t get that or you don’t agree with that? Either one I find difficult to reason with. You have been arguing all week with everyone about this. You obviously want to go to the game. Just go. Stop with the me, me, me and just go quietly if that’s what you really must do. I just hope you and the handful of fans that do attend can look back and be proud of yourselves when the camera zooms in on you pointing out that one or two fans were not going to be bullied into taking action against the worst person that’s ever been connected to the club.
  15. It isn’t bullying. You’ve been asked by the trust for very good reason to boycott tonight’s game. A mid week night match, not a Saturday, for the purpose of trying to save our football club. But yeah you stick to your guns and prove your little point. What a guy.
  16. Added to whether attending on Wednesday puts money in Chancers pocket. A full boycott has been arranged by the trust for very, very good reason. The boycott is still going ahead. If people start to think it’s alright to go now, it’s going to be a half r’sed full boycott which is just going to be ridiculous. Why is it that difficult to just come together, take one for the team, adhere to the boycott that has been organised for a midweek night match? I’d sort of understand if it was a Saturday but it’s not the biggest sacrifice in the world to miss a Wednesday night match to show solidarity with your fellow Wednesday fans.
  17. A fantastic watch and some great points (from the guy on the left, not him on the right). Also a bit of an insight to those still spending on how the boycotts are working and are taking effect. Fully agree with what is said about us as a fan base being more patient than most would be. Too patient really. But concerning about the potential battle between the regulator and Chansiri. The bit where he’s given the option where we can start next season in league 1 if he sells. Everything about him is ego. He isn’t ever doing what’s right for the club.
  18. I wouldn’t say boycott’s are off in the slightest. Keep squeezing not take the foot off at the final hurdle!!
  19. Maybe you wouldn’t ‘notice’ it on a highlights reel. But it would be reported on most news services, papers, social media etc I would have thought.
  20. That’s what I mean though. It very much depends on a variety of things. Some teams might be able to fill the away end as well. But I’d say there’s quite a few examples in our league where it would be very much noticeable if there were no away fans. Us being one.
