If as has been suggested they are interested in developing the whole are then owlerton would be ideal, the training ground could expand into Niagara and there's a huge plot where the current ground is. Looking on Google earth the dog track is lot bigger than I remember it. There's also land around it. Anyone know what the buildings between the church and leisure centre are? Include them and it's plenty big enough.

Thought it was a good idea when I first read it, as it would save the cost of land for a new training ground. But the cost of redeveloping Hillsborough into a training ground would probably make it impractical. There's a good site at Dore that might become available soon. Somebody bought it but looks like they can't afford to do owt with it
