Correct, mine arrived this week but I signed up to the Trust earlier this year when there was no light at the end of the tunnel. I’m not embarrassed to say my mental state was not great but the efforts of the Trust made me believe there might be a positive outcome if we all came together. I even posted on here that I didn’t think that WAWAW meant anything anymore. I was wrong and that is down to SWFC Supporters Trust and the Official Receiver. WAWAW

Fantastic effort by the SWFC Supporters Trust. One of the few sources of optimism through the dark days of this summer. Now that we’re looking forward with optimism it’s important we remember how the Trust gave us hope when we were desperate. We all need to renew our membership when the time comes. I’ll be wearing my membership badge with pride wherever I attend a match.

Brave as a lion and a very good footballer. He’s a professional footballer at the end of the day with a short career so he needed to maximise his earnings while he could. The last couple of weeks of his time with us shouldn’t really be held against him given the antics of our megalomaniac owner at the time.

Whenever I hear Alex Turner sing the line ‘And what a scummy man’ in ‘When the sun goes down’ , for some reason I’m always reminded of Wilder. It’s so annoying .

It’s a fair point you make about the hollow victory argument from the fan’s perspective. I’d be interested to know if you think a win for United, in the situation the two clubs currently find themselves in, would justify a repeat of their manager’s table dancing escapades of last season.

For any younger fans that didn’t have the unhappy experience of watching a game that George Courtney refereed, well I can assure you he was the most consistently biased anti-Wednesday official I have ever had the misfortune to watch.

Yes, on reflection it was a good little school but I probably didn’t appreciate it at the time. It would have been around the time of that semi final that the school football team played a match against the teachers. I can’t remember much about that game other than Mr Hodgetts being on the end of some very robust challenges.

I was 15. We went down with the High Green Supporters Club. They took 3 or 4 coaches that set off from the White Hart at the top of Wortley Road. The North Bank of Highbury was absolutely rammed and the atmosphere was electric. I remember being in a traffic jam as we tried to leave London and the Arsenal coaches were arriving back from Birmingham after they lost their semifinal to Man United!

I know Pederson has limited forward options but surely it’s obvious that you can’t play Ugbo and Lowe together up front. They just don’t offer enough mobility and physicality .

Yeah I was also thinking of him, or maybe Ernest Blenkinsop (surely the most Yorkshire sounding name of all).

David Graham - first game I saw him , not sure if it was his debut, was at home to Southampton who had Kenwyne Jones up front . Graham made Chris Sedgwick, who during his spell at Wednesday apparently wore concrete boots, look lightning fast.

I was also at that game. I think it was the first, and thankfully last, time I watched a professional game on an artificial pitch. It was hideous. I seem to remember that we parked in the car park of a Catholic Social Club near the ground and went inside for a pint. It was full of our fans with a small minority of locals. Their takings must have been very good that day.

The team currently sitting 2nd in the EPL were at home today and their attendance was 11,000. The team rock bottom of the Championship and almost certainly already relegated attracted an attendance of 27,000 , selling 9000 tickets in 24 hours! I think the potential of our club isn’t in any doubt.

It just demonstrates that the previous owner never understood what the club means to us. He had numerous opportunities over the last few years to try to build bridges with the fans but never even tried ; in fact quite the opposite he effectively declared war against us. Good riddance to the megalomaniac!

I can’t make it today because of work but I’ve just renewed membership for me and my son. We’ll be back at Hillsborough as soon as we can though now the megalomaniac has gone
