  1. Clearly had that line lined up since Wednesday and was going to use it regardless to earn more '100% Blaaaaaade' points
  2. Not sure how long it can wash...he had plenty of these players for a full season and he's now had them for 10 games this season. Their squad is so big he can afford to take the ones he didnt want out and he still has plenty of options I wonder if they'd brought in Sean Dyche after Seles and he'd had these results what they'd be saying.
  3. Is Charles really that far off? Surely if you have a shoulder injury as a keeper once you're training again (,ie handling/catching the ball) you must be pretty near fit It's not like a keeper needs the same level of match fitness as an outfield player.
  4. Anyone else find that strangely enjoyable? Obviously not nice to lose but we seemed to have plenty of possession and I thought we played some nice stuff against what should be one of the better teams in the league. Yes, they maybe took their foot off the pedal a bit, but even so it was nice to see we are capable of being competitive. Maybe my expectations have been lowered too much but I actually found that really encouraging.
  5. So you agree he was right to leave then?
  6. So you're saying they made the right decision because they realised the club was being run by a "ridiculous moron" but my post makes no sense? You're agreeing with me but my post makes no sense?
  7. George Hirst is now playing for Scotland, possibly going to the World Cup, has played in the Premier League and is probably earning more than 90% of our squad We're on our way to League One and haven't paid our players regularly for the last 8 months. I'd say that justifies the decision to seek other opportunities
  8. He may get a surprise in January if he's expecting to strengthen. They've got a squad full of players on whopping contracts but they're almost condemned to a third season in the Championship (or worse) already. That third season comes with a big cut to their parachute payments and they can't risk going into season four (without parachute money) with the sort of wage bill they have now.
  9. Remember their hands are tied to some extent. Their duty is tonthe creditors. They only need to ensure the club survives and the new owner passes the EFL/IFR criteria. That might not mean we end up with the most ambitious owner or the one with the deepest pockets
  10. mate, it's just some attendances of clubs that had a similar gate to us in the Prem and how they've changed. Just thought it was of interest. Nothing sinister / odd!
  11. For comparison across same periods and how EPL attendances have grown... Spurs (average 24/25 61,127) 99/00 Premier League 34,912 98/99 Premier League 34,174 97/98 Premier League 29,144 96/97 Premier League. 31,067 95/96 Premier League. 30,548 94/95 Premier League 27,068 93/94 Premier League 27,255 92/93 Premier League 27,878 91/92 First Division 27,761 Everton (average 24/25 39,191) 99/00 Premier League 34,880 98/99 Premier League 36,203 97/98 Premier League 35,355 96/97 Premier League. 36,188 95/96 Premier League 35,427 94/95 Premier League 31,369 93/94 Premier League 22,912 92/93 Premier League 20,457 91/92 First Division 23,141 Man City (average 24/25 52,519) 99/00 First Division 32,088 98/99 Second Division 28,273 97/98 First Division. 28,197 96/97 First Division 26,753 95/96 Premier League 27,941 94/95 Premier League. 22,674 93/94 Premier League. 26,334 92/93 Premier League 24,698 91/92 First Division. 27,641
  12. Yeah you may be correct i do remember costs of £3m being thrown around though when administration was first mentioned. I suppose what I meant by over and above is the amount of positive PR from KW and his partners. Obviously i'm paying closer attention to our admin period than anything in the past but it does feel like KWs knowledge and understanding of the club and fanbase is helping to have a way more positive impact than may have been thw case if administrators with no real connection to the club had been appointed.
  13. Hope you're right. The ideal scenario would definitely by DC getting the square root of f all and therefore the new owner being left with more money to invest in the rebuild
  14. According to Keiran Maguire, these are the B&T team's horly rates. I think ir's been said there's a team of 12 in there currently. By the looks of that maybe costing an average of £400 per hour. That's about £40k per day, so maybe £200k per week 10 weeks = £2m. From what i've read in the past re cost of administration that's probably about right, and to be fair they seem to be going over and above what you'd expect and are pulling in a hell of a lot of cash at the minute.
  15. It doesn't get valued. They just sell to the party that makes the highest bidder that can satisfy the EFL (and likely the regulator's) criteria.
  16. Exactly this, which then leaves you open to someone with lesser good intentions...not a cowboy but perhaps someone with different ambitions. Remember the administrator legally can't be picking and choosing if they meet the minimum criteria of owning a football club.
  17. More about the impact it has on who the new owner may be and what situation they will inherit in terms of points deductions. If we get the right owners and start next season on zero points I couldn't care less either, but it could have a significant impact.
  18. Interesting. I've not seen/heard that clip.
  19. This seems to be a key question in what happens next. Reading old articles about Wigan's administration period (also undertaken by Begbies Trainor) it seems the plan was to try and circumvent this rule/issue. I believe in the end the major creditor agreed not to collect their debt? (Perhaps someone can confirm this?) I don't think Chansiri will write off his loans which means we face a further 15 point deduction as we exit administration. There's little advantage to any new owner in looking to avoid this if it's to be applied this season but notes from the trust meeting last week suggest this WILL be applied next season (again if i'm reading that incorrectly can someone from the trust confirm?) I believe Chansiri is owed about £60m although i think Keiran Maguire suggested it may be more That will be a minimum £15m that needs to be paid in addition to the price of the ground (£8m?) plus HMRC debts plus administrator fees plus anything else thats owed in the background. Early on in the process Kris suggested there may be a way around the 25% rule being applied to Chansiri's loans. Does anyone know what that might be and what Chansiri is actually owed?
  20. Anything Rhian Brewster can do....
  21. Can't see this. Jist seens like a lazy made up story.....pick a Wednesday player with some sort of value and say Röhl is 'swooping' back to Hillsborough
  22. There's no way on earth the 12 points gets reduced and I can't see how we won't be deducted at least another 2 points for non payment to other clubs as that's what Utd got and the EFL won't want any bother should we miraculously stay up by a point at someone else's expense For me this now becomes an 18 month plan to get back into the Championship. If we can get in new owners with funds before January, be allowed to sign loans and frees then we should look for 2/3 players in January with expiring contracts to take on loan from January with a view to signing in June/July. That gives us a head start re recruitment for L1 next season. Then try and add whatever else we need in the summer for a push at bouncing straight back Rinse and repeat Jan 27 and then hopefully by summer 27 we are Umbongo free as we re-enter the Championship.
