  1. It’s something else to bicker about that we should just move on from. Feels like everyone is getting caught up on their own opinion being right. We’re all guilty of it occasionally but we need to end the “if you don’t do this / that / this then you’re not a top level fan”
  2. We do, but I think any interested parties should be able to see that the fans have done wonders for the club lately and will turn up in numbers… they should also know that our situation is shooting fish in a barrel for other teams and it’s a hard watch
  3. Fans on here seem pretty split on what should’ve happened. Personally, I just want what’s best for the club, and I don’t think an individual accolade of a hat trick does that.
  4. When this goes hand in hand with losing a lot, it must really mess up players brains. I think the players are doing well to be as competitive as we are currently, considering that winning a game seems like a pipe dream
  5. You see these random fans in T-shirts, when it’s cold and raining and windy… they must have the skin of a seal
  6. Happy for Sunderland. Goes to show that a team can struggle and a few years later be on a really positive trajectory. Gives us some slight hope.
  7. Seems to be some real weirdos about, that come to football to leak out either farts or emotional distress
  8. We’re now bottom of the league !
  9. It definitely sets something off in them. Like a chemical reaction of anger, irrational thinking and anxiety
  10. These people sound like they need counselling and possibly a couple of nights in a cell.
  11. The (full) build up was great too
  12. Someone on the Wednesday Week podcast also said that at the United game that someone ran down the steps of one of the stands and punched another Wednesday fan. If I heard correctly
  13. So by getting punched in front of his kids I’m sure he’ll definitely be itching to get back to Hillsborough with his family, and stay until the very last second What goes through these numpties heads (nothing)
  14. Yep. We’ve conceded plenty under Röhl and Pedersen. I think we need some new personnel at the back (when allowed) but it probably isn’t just a back 4//5 issue… the whole team is responsible for defending
  15. I agree… mentally try our best to reset also, especially with a rallying cry from a new owner - hopefully someone with some personality that makes people feel involved
  16. This sounds a simply WTF situation People that punch other fans at matches seem to have major behavioural issues
  17. Amass cuts inside a lot generally but I noticed that. Overall it doesn’t feel great, scoring two and losing to a team that seemed pretty generic to me
  18. No point attacking each other. Get all that left in the past. I bet people who weren’t there today have: Bought a ticket to Oxford, Norwich, United Bought some merchandise Bought a membership Donated to the Trust fundraiser Donated to the Owlstalk fundraiser
  19. I’m not attacking Pedersen but you’d think he’d also be barking from the sideline about who should / shouldnt take it.
  20. I don’t think the OP is having a pop but don’t let it turn into questioning ourselves. We are an amazing fanbase, we answered the call within literally minutes when the club needed us most. He who shall never be named again pushed plenty of people away from the club, he ruined the minds of many, and their connection to the club. People probably can’t change everything so quickly to routinely go back to attending. As long as fans are doing something/anything for the club, that’s got to be appreciated. Just hang in there Wednesday.
  21. I think quite a few that are (commendably) fighting for us now on the pitch will leave. It’s got to be very tough being a player for us right now - just nicking the odd win would do us wonders. It’s the hope that kills you but maybe by January with Cooper and Redmond and other players back it might slightly improve
  22. Yeah. Other teams defenders seem be a foot taller than our (remaining) lads, and physically stronger, next season I think we’ll be looking at these types of defenders again.
  23. McNeill impressed me today. Not sure when he’s contracted to but I think in the league below he could be semi decent. All depends on budget, and allowed recruitment
  24. If I think about it in short sentences then: Supervillain has almost killed the club, people refusing to go in protest People came back for Oxford, Norwich, United and a lot changed their current routines to do so - 2 defeats and a draw - no wins away either We’ve seen today that nothing goes for us on the pitch, and it’s difficult. People should attend if they can, but it’s not easy. I do hope any new owner already knows what we can be as you can’t put a measurement on the suffering we’ve had as a fanbase. I wasn’t there today and I knew it’d be unlikely I’d make it but I did buy a membership, so I guess my seat was empty but the club still got money from me - hopefully a new potential owner knows that these are exceptional circumstances, if not, they’re a bit daft
  25. Some great football and movement etc It’s credit to the players and Pedersen for that But we’re going to need 4 new defenders that defend first.
