  1. 6 defeats out of 6 is something. I mean Xisco was bad for us. Sadly can see Selles getting the boot before he can surpass that
  2. Like father, like son. Get in Hirsty.
  3. WAWAW. FUNNIEST THING EVER. PROUD OF ALL THE LADS TONIGHT.
  4. Calling clubs tinpot when we can't afford to pay our staff and can't sign players, shows a level of arrogance we dont need. Wrexham will be fine and I wish them all the best. They have owners and vision that we would die for.
  5. If you are criticising any of these kids wearing our shirt tonight, go and give your head a shake. This is a learning curve for all of us let alone players more accustomed to 13.30 kick offs in the U21s or League of Ireland on a Friday night.
  6. Couldn't care less how they are doing when we are in the state we are. And that is another reason why all of this has knocked the stuffing out of me. Can't be alone. Whilst we have this hanging over us ive zero interest. Barely given any of the football today a second glance. First time ever.
  7. We have a small pool to choose from but which player is going to breakout and make the most of the unexpected opportunity that they have been given for free?
  8. I don't know if Bill will see this but you are not alone. You are part of our family. WABAW
  9. The opening of that statement fills me with hope. Not sure why but it does.
  10. All of this. Right here . Is the main reason why, despite all the crap we are going through, Wednesday will never die or be taken from us. We are at our darkest point but think back to Varadi vs Forest on our return in 84 Sherdian Dink, Waddle in 93, Talbot in Cardiff, Antonio vs Carlisle, Lee to make it 2-0 vs Brighton, the miracle of Hillsborough, Windass at Wembley, Röhl's resurrection. Nobody is taking that away. We might have to go back to go forward but memories last a lifetime, drive hope and without any of this there is just despair. I genuinely am at a loss by all of this right now and I know im not alone.
  11. My wider family aren't from Sheffield and had relocated in early 70s. Tottenham Hotspur at home in 84/85 season. Still remember it like yesterday. Not sure if I am a Jonah but my dad's team is Darlington. Another club destroyed by its owner. They aren't back to where they need to be but evidence if needed there is a road back.
  12. Listening to Tommy Craig got me thinking about what brought us to Wednesday? What causes us to follow this institution which brings so much joy and so much pain? I was born in what could be described as their territory but ended up at Hillsborough through a spare ticket 40 years ago and that was that. I've never let it go even though ive moved away from my home city. What people don't understand is this club defines who you are. It's a part of me. It makes me proud as it defines where I am from. If you destroy this you will never take this from me. I am Wednesday till I die and thay will never ever change.
  13. Didn't recognise Graeme Lee. Two decent Wednesday League 1 players. Will need more like them next season.
  14. Despite everything I know thst come kick off vs Leicester and despite the odds, I will be thinking we will win . By the end of the game reality will have kicked in. The cycle will follow every single game. Going to be a long long season of hurt.
