  1. So this £30m is to cover the 25p in the pound to creditors, to stop us getting a 15 point deduction next season. In which case we must owe £120m, From what I have read we owe Chansiri £60m, has it been disclosed who we owe the other £60m to. Thanks for any replies.
  2. Went for Bannan who I thought had his best game in a long time. The Inglesson, Bannan Valerie trio worked well and allowed one of them to push forward and support the 2 hard working forwards.
  3. Yeah I remember that one. 1978 If I remember correctly, the station was called Alfreton and Mansfield Parkway so me and my mates thought it must be somewhere in Mansfield. The guard at Sheffield tried to advise us that it wasn't a good idea but us teenagers knew better. I think the station is about 10 miles from the ground and not on a bus route, so we walked about 5 miles to Sutton in Ashfield and got a bus into Mansfield. Happy Days
  4. Charles. 8.5. MoM Valery. 8 Iorfa. 8 Lowe. 7.5 Otegbayo. 6.5 Palmer. 8 Chalobah. 8 Bannan 6 Inglesson 7.5 Lowe. 6 Cademarteri. 7.5 Fusire. 6
  5. All the best Callum always have his all. Looks like we are trying to get rid of any one who is on a decent wage. Probably bring in a couple of players who are desperate for a club at the end of the transfer window and will play for.peanuts. Desperate times for us.
  6. We are so skint that I don't the players will get any New boots ( and panties) by the start of the season.
  7. Yep.agree. Not tall for a central defender, but competes well both on the ground and in the air. ( Ballard takes care of the high balls) Reads the game really well and has a good pass on him. Looks to me like a midfielder who has dropped into defence. C'mon Sunderland.
  8. Agree with this. Not Danny's preferred system but a 3 man midfield of Bannan, Charles and Vaulks would have taken some beating.
  9. Beadle 6 Iorfa. 6.5 Ihekwie. 5 Lowe. N/A Hatsuse. 6 Paterson. 6 Charles. 5 Bannan. 5 Gazzama. 5 Windass 5.5 Smith. 7. MoM Valentin 6.5
  10. Mr Watson He was normally our Geography teacher but sometimes also took us for games up at Castledyke.
  11. Totally agree with your comments, a couple.of.other things that I would add. He is not scared to put in a niggly tackle to stop teams breaking away and his dead ball delivery is pretty good. He has only put in a handfull.of corners but 2 of them were the best we have put in all season.
  12. I would say it is a bit of all 3.
  13. Other team seem to get far more blocks in than us. Most matches we look certain to score then a player comes from nowhere and block the shot. we rarely appear to do this.
  14. Looks like his confidence is totally shot. Against Swansea he had a great chance to get a shot away from centre of goal but passed to someone with a narrower angle.and he did the same again last night. How he gets his confidence back I don't know.
  15. A bit like Burnley we played some nice stuff but ended up with nothing due to some very poor defending. Not strengthening during January is costing us badly. Beadle. 6. Valentin. 7 Ihekwie. 5 Lowe. 5 Hatsuse. 6.5 Charles. 7 Inglesson. 7.5. MoM Bannan. 6 Gazzama. 6.5 Patterson. 7 Windass. 4.5 With the threadbare squad we have I feel the play off push has gone. Not blaming Beadle for any of the goals but wonder if it is now time to give Charles a run in goal. If he is to be our number one next season we need to be sure he is up to the task. So far he has looked confident and composed and looks a very good prospect. I do wonder if his stature will count against him and would like to see how he copes in competitive games at this level. You never know we may have got a very good keeper under our nose.
