Agreed. I'm old enough to remember John Hickton, Gerry Young and Paul Warhurst. All defenders or midfielders who were played as emergency centre forwards. Hickton scored a hat trick against Arsenal but we stupidly let him go to Boro where he became a legend. Young scored hat tricks against Man U and A.S.Roma. Warhurst you might know about. If Iorfa or Inglesson fancied it, I'd try one of them before Ugbo.

We've been relegated to the third tier on four previous occasions and never once came straight back up. And we never won the division on the four occasions we did go up. All depends on how much the new owners want to spend on it. With a new manager and new players anything can happen.

I like Rogers superimposed 45k stadium. Remember we haven't averaged 30k since the sixties which is remarkable given the size of Sheffield and the massiveness of the club. When we were decent (1984 to 1997 roughly) crowds in football were generally low compared to today. We could certainly average 40k in today's Premier League, so if the new owners are ambitious I'd like to see them try to buy the land around Owlerton stadium. They could always resell it if things don't work out. Land investment.
