  1. Hopefully we’ll have a positive answer to that question in a week or so
  2. He should be reminded that they already dropped to getting gates below 15,000, even for a play-off semi final of all games, after only 2 seasons in League One. Add on the rest of what we suffered and they'd be into 4 digit attendances.
  3. Probably because they're our local rivals. And it's funny.
  4. Regardless of what their actual plan was, it'll be interesting to see if they respond to this with any kind of statement. Their fans might not allow this news to just go away without further clarification. If they try to claim they were doing it 'for the lols' to close us down then they'll be in just as much hot water with the sporting bodies as they would be with their fans for thinking it was a viable business strategy to merge the clubs. What utter madness.
  5. My understanding is that Madri is literally the old recipe of what Carling used to be, while Carling itself has had its recipe changed to be even cheaper to produce. It’s certainly not a Spanish beer as their marketing would like to have you believe…
  6. This stuff costs £50 a bottle at retail, and they’ll need a different bottle for each person they spray for it to be of much use. I’d be interested to hear more about how they plan to use this and how it will help them track anyone at all, but I suspect it’s likely just for security theater.
  7. I think he was on the pitch with the sole instruction of sticking his arse into the keeper when they got a corner. That's all I can remember him doing all game.
  8. I’m no expert, but one thing I’m pretty sure they have to do to get around the lottery laws is allow anyone to enter those competitions for free. Although they likely make it as awkward as possible to do so, like requiring free entries to be sent by post and only allowing one entry per envelope so you’d end up paying more in postage fees to do it anyway…
  9. I'm looking at it the other way around; Saturday games sell themselves and take relatively little effort to get people to turn up. Giving an extra big push to sell out a midweek night match could increase what the attendance would have otherwise been massively.
  10. I stand corrected! Though now I'm thoroughly confused, because TWTID podcast claimed to have spoken to the SWFC Trust and had been told this figure of £37,500 was incorrect. Oh well, wonderful to hear that it turned out to be true after all
  11. Neil should be incredibly proud of what he has helped achieve tonight, it's a remarkable feat which I'm sure will not go unnoticed by potential investors and will give the club another hugely positive media boost. Let's not start jumping on people who made honest suggestions about who they'd rather we fundraise for in future though. This probably wasn't the thread for it, but I'm sure those comments came from a place of love and the same desire that we all have to contribute towards the club in the most impactful ways we can. WAWAW
  12. I know just the perfect coffee table to pair them with...
  13. How much did that turn out to be? The post on X claiming they'd donated £30k or whatever it was turned out to be a hoax from memory.
  14. Owen Morrison statue fund?
  15. Pretty sure that game didn't sell out, or if it did there was a significant number of people with tickets who decided not to waste their time going, going by posts on here at the time.
  16. There's a vote for something, one of the first bits of info the administrators put out was that creditors should expect voting forms to be received at their registered address.
  17. It was claimed that just prior to last January's transfer window he was offered north of £100m for the club when we were a couple of points away from the top-six coming into 2025.
  18. Not to mention that the 17,000 average was probably made up almost entirely of ST holders who had already spent their money 8+ months ago. With walk ups down 4-6,000 the club was likely losing out on more than £150k per game compared to last season.
  19. The IFR come into action in less than a week, and there's no way they'd allow it. Unless of course Chansiri completes a deal to regain ownership and receives the EFL's stamp of approval before November 1st
  20. It's currently the #1 most read article on BBC.co.uk... Congrats Rob!
  21. Also whether it would be allowed to re-seat home season ticket holders in order to accommodate away fans… Sounds to me like it would spark more refund requests.
  22. Am I misremembering or was there something potentially questionable about the organisation (or the person who is behind the organisation) where we borrowed this money from? Hopefully this is good news, and not just the start of an even more fractured situation with multiple parties soon to be holding us hostage rather than just the current one.
  23. Most of these (by the club's own admission) will have been bought last year, before there was any hint of Danny having a falling out and while we were in touching distance of the play-offs. Expect an even more significant drop-off when next season's STs go on sale...
