He is a very good player, and once fully fit, is playing a league below his potential.

I actually thought he looked better in the second half than the first, perhaps it is just a case of being a tad ring rusty.

He is a proper footballer, however. We are lucky to have him, and I understand his deal was "fair". He could have got more, elsewhere.

He’s not a championship player mate, but he will be a quality player for us this year if he carries on like today

I’ve heard 4 people today say he’s better at LB than Max Lowe. I’ll be honest I don’t agree but today he was really good and I don’t think there’s that much difference.

If prefer him at the 6 than our back up midfielders as well. Apart from one mishit ball when he went for a diagonal to, I think Valery, I don't think he misplaced a pass either.

Very good footballer. Never understood the meltdown when we signed him.

I know we are all gushing over today and rightly so. We could pick any player from that starting 11 and give them praise.

But I feel like we've overlooked Reece James a bit.

For how late he has come into the group he was excellent today. I have no problem whatsoever with him being the backup to Lowe. In fact, I thought he offered something different today.

He has a real composure that I like and he passes the ball really nicely. He kept finding Barry and seems to have great relationship down that side.

It's going to be a real battle for that position when Max Lowe is fit again.

More competition the better

Solid League One player with a great mentality.

He’s exactly the type of character you need around.

I was surprised there was quite a bit of negativity to us re-signing him tbh

We were never gonna get a better back up player at this level and with our restrictions

Think part of the problem is many of our fans are still buriny their heads in the sand over our restrictions and think we can sign whoever we want.

James is more than adequate at this level and a great addition to the squad.

Played much better than I expected from a player who wasn’t picked up by anyone else sooner in the summer.

And I feel he brings more to the attacking play than Lowe.  Lowe is better at defending but James is better going forwards
