Popular Post TodwickOwl Posted August 29 Popular Post Posted August 29 Best performance in a Wednesday shirt at Hillsborough in years. Yes, the opposition enabled some of it - but you could see his confidence rise and rise, ball sticks to him, excellent service into box. Got a steal with him, looks electric on left. 7 7 43
TodwickOwl Posted August 29 Author Posted August 29 Best performance of a Wednesday player…get my drift 1
Owlabroad2001 Posted August 29 Posted August 29 He was unplayable. Two goals and two assists. Probably should have had more too. 6 1
Bluesteel. Posted August 29 Posted August 29 He’s quality. But it looks like there could be more to come as he looks bright pink early doors. 1
TheHawk Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Takes some going to top that Slattery first half performance, and he did it 6
JOHNHARKES Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Fantastic player absolutely love him. What a performance. 5
OwususFirstTouch Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Such a positive player, always looking up and thinking of creating something or getting a shot off. If he's cost us less than 7 digits then it's an absolute steal. Quality. 2 4
FPOwls Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Said midweek he’d be the one to get 15-20 goals this season when he’s up to speed. Not convinced he’s fully match fit yet which is scary considering the impact he’s having. I’ve played full back at a reasonable level and I’d hate to play against him he’s direct every time he picks up the ball and there’s nothing more frightening than a winger full of confidence and trickery running at you at speed 1 1
gsibon Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Reminds me facially and physically of a former Owls player but can’t put my finger on who…can anyone help??
FearlessOwl Posted August 29 Posted August 29 He's a player who gets bums off seats when he gets the ball, been a while since we've had someone like that 2 2
Vanderowlsterdam Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Can’t wait to see Barry and Morrison start together. It’ll give Bannan and Slattery options either side to tear teams apart. 3 4
jonnyowl Posted August 29 Posted August 29 I went to a game at Old Trafford jn the summer of 2012, there was this player who played on the left, kept getting the ball, kept taking players on and causing havoc everything and evrytime he got the ball did the same thing, took players on cut inside and created a chance and not how many times he did it the defence never has an answer. That was Neymar for Brazil I the Olympics. Louie Barry did the same thing today. No matter how many times he got the ball, you know what hes going to do and not matter how many times he did it the defender had no answer. He along with a few others were brillaint! 1
