Time to give this lad a little credit. Stuck with us through last year’s crap and now scoring a few. He’ll never be the best centre forward we’ve ever had, but he’s not half as bad as people make out.

Should be on 4 though…. He could be like a new signing. Like most players last season they weren’t getting paid so it enough for people not trying to as much. He looks a lot more fired up already this season

There were those of us that held our slagging off of him because we knew he'd be great for us this season. He is now proving all of his doubters wrong.

People laughed when someone suggested he could get 10+ this season. Gets unfair stick imo

I’ve suggested he could be a leading scorer for us this season and got laughed at but he’s well on the way already. He won’t need to work as hard or use pace at this level as he already has the ability

He is working really hard off the ball this season so far, plus the goals. Credit to him.

I was on the Kop and there was a lad berating him.

”eeee needs to bring Jamal Lowe off he’s the weak link”

 

”eeee could have been 9-2 if Lowe had scored those two goals”

 

genuinely even moaned that he didn’t score his second goal at the first attempt…

 

Everyone is entitled to an opinion of course but that was ridiculous. Lowe played well. Not top player on the pitch but was effective still.

Credit where credits due but there are players that are great in good teams.

 

Still wouldn't be first choice if we had a fully fit squad.

He did well today.

 

Yes, he's not the greatest player in the world, but we're a third division team.

 

He's often asked to play out of position, but usually puts in a shift.

 

Gave his all today and nabbed a couple of goals.

 

Why don't we just celebrate that?

He's a wide forward not a lone central striker.
