There is a distinct chill in the air, it has that end of Summer/"back to school" feel about it.

 

I noticed some trees are already dropping leaves this week.

In the last 24 hours we have had 82mm of rain that's the most in August in over  30 years

That's cause the trees are stressed until this rain the ground had no water for several feet down.

Yeah looking forward to the meat and bones of the league now and midweek league games. Should have a decent idea of our direction of travel by the end of September
