Popular Post Eaton_Swfc Posted August 20 Popular Post Posted August 20 Absolutely Horse poo 30,000 outsung by 3,000 away fans. Even first 10 minutes when we played well it was subdued. Very very poor, id be fuming if I was old Storchy. 1 48
owler66 Posted August 20 Posted August 20 Yes sat on the Lepp you couldn't here much, very disappointed in the kop that should be the engine room for noise but not a wimper
the_forgotten_city Posted August 20 Posted August 20 It was superb just before kick off and first 5-10 mins and then pretty much died. You have to credit Bradford though. Hard to get the crowd going when the ball’s hardly ever in a play. 4
TheSlicer Posted August 20 Posted August 20 The crowd relies on the team playing well to create and atmosphere. the team Rely on the crowd. very poor atmosphere tonight. Like a library after five minute. 4
Popular Post S63 Owl Posted August 20 Popular Post Posted August 20 We could easily average 30k this season - means absolutely nothing if they aren’t the 12th man. 1 1 23
oneeyedmilkman Posted August 20 Posted August 20 I hope next summer we sack off this 'ad these seats" years malark and try and organise a bit of an atmosphere section. Only time the kop got vocal really was when someone stood up too long. 5
McRightSide Posted August 20 Posted August 20 League One atmosphere at Hillsborough is largely woeful in no small part due to the rampant expectations 1 1 7
Popular Post crookesowl Posted August 20 Popular Post Posted August 20 A whole culture shift is needed if we expect an atmosphere in matches like that. it was a turgid performance and therefore a rubbish atmosphere. We are spurred on by performances, not our love for the club. 1 1 9
Popular Post Miffed Posted August 20 Popular Post Posted August 20 The atmosphere reflected the game. Especially second half 1 11
horny owl Posted August 20 Posted August 20 Well you just wait for Peterborough away on September 5th Thousands of wednesday fans taking the p!$$ Thats how it works 2
SallyCinnamon Posted August 20 Posted August 20 Never a great atmosphere at Hillsborough is it really. Other than really special occasions. Plus second half we didn’t seem to want to play football in our half, so really hard to get the fans going. 6
