It’s easy to feel as a fan base that we should be steam rolling teams but the reality is that Bradford have been a strong league one side for years.

 

organised without much flair. They know what to do to win.

 

the positives for me was that saw more going forward today than for the 12 months previous. 
 

of course we can be better and we will be:.. the more bannan, gray, Slattery, Barry, Mitchell and Morrison play together the better It will be.

 

Rome wasn’t built in a day but London was burnt down in one.

 

relax and support the process.

 

as my old mate at work says ‘not every jump will make your toes curl… but when it does it blows your mind’

I get your point, and agree that it's still a new team.

 

But we got progressively worse as the game went on

Definitely some patience needed this season. 14 new signings will take time to gel, a lot of work needed to undo the disaster of last season. Mid table this season with clear signs of progress and I'm happy. Never expected promotion this season and with the restrictions we're under next season I don't think it'd be beneficial either

Well said Chap...ive already said I didnt go berserk when we won the other day and im not getting narky after tonight... itll take time to gel once that window closes...we'll win some and lose some along the way! Im not reacting to the knee jerkers - let 'em stress themselves out!

A forum is a good place to vent and express views against others of different views.

 

Hopefully as @Normanski says above, we will see a lot more of the first half and less of the second as the season goes on.

I'm not shocked.  People were really getting carried away.  Reminds me of when we lost vs Middlesbrough at the start of the 2015/16 season 3-1.

Funny isn't it. I was laughed at for saying we were awful last week, which we were. This week I thought in spells we looked pretty decent. Shows that most fans don't really look at how the team ACTUALLY plays but rather by result.

Yes, we will win a few.

 

But there is no guile - watching performances start reasonably well then drift away in the second half because there is no ability to change things or influence the outcome.

 

A bitterly disappointing result.

I do agree with much of what you say. We have a new side and those relationships across the pitch will grow as the season goes on. We will get better and I hope it doesn't take too long. 

 

Some of that game we looked brilliant, like we'll pis5 League One and end up top six. Second half, we lost it. My theory is that we are just too easy to work out. 

 

We haven't yet found a way to deal with teams getting in our faces. Are we playing the wrong style of football for this League? Is it that Pedersen doesn't have a plan B, as such? I'm not digging anyone out in particular. I think there's a learning curve across the whole club and things will take time. Especially after the state of our club was left in. 

 

I dunno... A frustrating evening tonight and one that I would have hoped for at least a draw. I'm not prepared to throw my toys out of the pram, not after 3 competitive games where we've won 2 of them. I just hope we don't see too much of tonight this season!
