Is there a case for just bringing him on for the last 30 mins or so,when the game slows down a bit.

Was poor for an hour then came into the game and did his stuff.

We were very poor first half , nothing to do with baz 

 

barry needs to start as does Mitchell and santos , liongola to right back potentially and w e won’t be as sloppy ..,

 

oteg / Thornton and maybe Harry gray to the bench + palmer

Problem is we have no depth. Who starts for Bannan to be on the bench. Until Mitchell is for we have very little. For all the talk of signing a rw and cf the lack of cm depth is more problematic at present

Fksake, he has a quiet period in the game and **** like this starts.

 

The fact that he finished the game strong shows his legs aren't gone. 

 

I know it was a sitter in the end, but he's the player still pressing that late in the game.

 

He's absolutely fine.

If he doesn't boss every single second of every game, it doesn't mean he's past it.

He was decent second half. His miss was a shocker but he was ok overall.

First game of the season, suns out, all the usual hope and expectation mixed with sheer relief at just being able to watch and enjoy football again after almost losing the club, 3 points on the road at a potentially tricky opener.

Thought Bannon had been brought back to do his coaching badgers, was surprised at him being in the first team, but I suppose injuries forced Peds hand.

1) How can you spell conundrum right but not Bannan? 
 

2) No conundrum. With him in the team we are so much better. He’s obviously now in the twilight of his career. Just enjoy him while he’s still here.
