I honestly don't understand some of our fans

We just had the worst decade in our clubs history and the new guy walks in and a couple of weeks later some fans are complaining that the new owners haven't solved every single issue known to man yet

Come on - let's be sensible about all this and reasonable, and not have this dummy spitting

Give the new owner a bit of time to get stuck in and improve things and they'll come right ffs

Will continue to be the case. unfortunately. Lets imagine we are in the relegation zone by October there will still be some saying they need to give him more time.

Great post, the last 10 years have set us back another 40.

 

It’ll take a good few months to sort out this mess.

Don't understand this at all.

 

Tunell & Changing Rooms are important to the players - so needed doing.

Hot water is a basic human right - correct, but we didn't have it so needed doing.

And stadiums have teething problems. We clearly didn't want an opening home fixture for this exact reason. 

 

There's a lot at the club that we should have had for YEARS but haven't had because of neglect. Just because they're basic things, doesn't make them less expensive/complex to implement. 

 

We are SO behind the times that small improvements like a freshly painted tunnel are a HUGE deal. 

Laughable some fans. It can't have been more clearly signposted what a work in progress this project will be but there'll be moaners regardless.

I think some of the £8m spent on the ground will be invisible to a lot of fans for the most part, with it being behind the scenes improvements such as the changing rooms and corporate hospitality areas, the latter being higher up on the priority list as they'll make more money at a faster rate from that then adding another pour tap or 50 pies per kiosk on a concession stand.

 

What I see is a list of things that need to be done and that list being dealt with based on priority........in short, a plan!  They'll look at where they can improve revenue quickly first then move on with some of the 'nice touches' like beer systems and food which drive revenue but nothing like a £225 per person Pantalones bar will 

 

Patience is needed, but there IS a plan, they're communicating it and so far it looks good

There's always going to be some sausage on social media who has to chuck in their two penneth worth. 

 

Look - there are clearly a lot of issues that need addressing, but we are only 100 days in aren't we. 

 

Don't think some people appreciate the scale of the task for the new owners. 

 

This isn't just a restart, it's a f*cking salvage job.

Give who more time? This isn't anything to do with HP it's about the owners, who are currently doing a brilliant job of trying to get the club back on its feet.

I don’t think some people live in the real World.

 

You can’t get a kitchen bought and fitted inside 12 weeks.

 

Some fans think they should have gutted 4 stands from a standing start.

 

Unbelievable.

 

Material changes take proper planning, especially so you don’t end up spending money twice through rushed decisions.

 

Very clearly, any major upgrades will take place over the next few years not weeks.

 

You have to book decent contractors several Months in advance. They have a pipeline, they can’t just drop their other customers because Wednesday have come calling.

 

Some people are so deluded I don’t know how they get through the week.
