Popular Post Otley Owl Posted August 2 Popular Post Posted August 2 (edited) Too many fans have made up their minds. Somehow, based on last season, these loud experts have decided the manager isn’t good enough. They can’t wait to jump on him. Based on a couple of friendlies, where the squad was split. And a season where it was genuinely impossible to judge him, either way. We’re building something. Have some patience, and see where we are ten games in. Calm down, enjoy it. Popular Post Mr Grey Man Posted August 2 Popular Post Posted August 2 Ten games is irrelevant to where we'll be in ten years. Managers come and go, players come and go, we're on the right track though. 1 1 13

Popular Post Kopparberg Posted August 2 Popular Post Posted August 2 I wish there was just one Pedersen megathread at this point so we don’t have to have ‘give him a chance’ ones vs ‘he has to go’ ones all throughout the site 1 20

We can't afford to give him 10 games. We gave Xisco 10 games and battled relegation all season. For me, the Bradford game should be his last if we've then suffered 3 straight defeats. 1 18
Popular Post S72 Owl Posted August 2 Popular Post Posted August 2 It’s always the same. People can’t wait for people to fail so they can tell everyone they were right all along. Seasons not even started and I’m fed up of the people wanting Pedersen out. We could win our first 5 games. But if he then dares to lose 1 it will be Pedersen out again. Let’s just get behind the team and trust the sporting director to do his job. 2 1 4 21
NorfolkParkOwl Posted August 2 Posted August 2 Think I'll wait until we're playing matches before judging 5

Gotta bare in mind Storch & Co negotiated down the 15 points deduction for reason. he might get 10 but for that many games I personally think they’ll be looking for sumat along lines of 3 wins in 5 or 6 in 10 ratio.

Creeky shirl Posted August 2 Posted August 2 I for one, am glad there’s another thread about this… …same horse; different jockey 2

Some will maybe feel as you have written but at the other end of the scale some will back him even when its clear its not working. Then there will be lots that sit somewhere in between and if he won 5 then lost 1 would absolutely not worry over 1 defeat. Usually on fans forums you see those with the more extreme views as they tend to want to shout about it more. Personally I dont think he has what it takes, I base that on his previous managerial record and not last season or pre-season (but neither of those periods make me think different). I would love him to succeed though, he's a good egg as far as I can tell and it saves the club money if they dont have to swap managers. Id also say that around 80% of my mates think similar, we will still get behind him and we will be at Orient hoping for a great start. 2 7
