BIG D Posted May 16 Posted May 16 If this takeover story is the real deal? Would he want to stay if he had to wait a while for it to get done? 1
Popular Post Doctor Duran Posted May 16 Popular Post Posted May 16 100% - given the right backing he would lead us to the premier league.. Not bothered about his recent conduct - can't blame him with the plonker that is DC behind it all.. 1 34
owls7 Posted May 16 Posted May 16 He’s a man wanting to progress but needs the right tools to do so. This might be that opportunity but I fear it might come to late. 1 2
agentwalker Posted May 16 Posted May 16 Not bothered either way, sure the new owners will have their own ideas. 1 2
BIG D Posted May 16 Author Posted May 16 (edited) I agree, 100% Danny is the man Edited May 16 by BIG D 6
Matt_1 Posted May 16 Posted May 16 Danny, with a budget, has us in the Champions League in 5 years. Maybe I am getting too excited. 1 8
Popular Post epton1867 Posted May 16 Popular Post Posted May 16 I don’t think he can , unfortunately he’s shown no respect to us fans whatsoever in pimping his self out unless a takeover happens and Danny makes a statement and reasons he wanted to leave then NO and I love Danny and what he’s done here 1 1 23
LJM Owl Posted May 16 Posted May 16 Obviously - Danny isn’t against the fans, he’s against Chansiri. He is easily a top 15-20 manager in the country currently and we won’t be able to replace him even if we were minted after the potential takeover. The first thing a new owner should be aiming to do is tying Danny down to a new 3-4 year deal. 6
swfcnathan Posted May 16 Posted May 16 Im not accepting anything less than guardiola or klopp. Stupidest thread title ive seen in a while. 1 3 1
andypandy Posted May 16 Posted May 16 I would give him the opportunity to see what he can do, with the right backing and support !
Deluded Owl Posted May 16 Posted May 16 I can’t believe some are even questioning this. For clarity, he issues a statement that he felt he couldn’t progress the club in the way he wanted under Chansiri and I can’t see many fans having a problem with that because let’s be honest this is clearly the sticking point IMO? 3 1 3
SiJ Posted May 16 Posted May 16 All hypotheticals atm. New owners often want their own person. Do you want to keep someone who has made it quite clear he wants out? Admittedly, there are an awful lot of mitigating circumstances as to why that is, but still. It's clear there are some fans who have turned against him, viewing his recent behaviour as disrespectful to the football club. It's an interesting one. 2
