Give over guys a legend and always will be for saving us from certain relegation last season.

 

This seasons had its up and downs but steady improvement.

Asked what his future holds and about links to RB Leipzig, the manager said: “I’ve always said that I’m very grateful to Sheffield for the opportunity I’ve been given there. And I’m someone who always wants to develop the club further. And to do that, you have to weigh up how far that’s still possible or whether the maximum has perhaps already been reached under the current conditions.”

Then asked if he’d accept a return to the Bundesliga if the opportunity was offered to him, the reply was: “I always want to work with the best players and compete with the best coaches. The Bundesliga is, of course, a top choice. After all, I grew up with the Bundesliga. But the Premier League is also a dream. I’m currently very excited to see what happens this summer.”

He appears to have answered questions from a reporter honestly. 

 

If he gave a more cryptic answer people would be slating him for not being honest and transparent. 

 

The only way he can win his by saying, RB who? They're nowhere near the top of my list of priorities when I'm at the massive Sheffield Wednesday. I'm staying here for the rest of my career!

So there’s zero actual disrespect then and he’s actually acting professionally

It’s pretty well known in a lot of circles how he has acted at the club since January 

 

He properly kicked the toys out that month

For all we know the bit about being excited for the summer could relate to us being taken over and he could be answering the Bundesliga question with 10 years time in mind.

 

Unlikely, but don't think it's worth bashing him without full context. I highly doubt he set out to disrespect anybody here, not us lot anyway.

To be clear

 

Lot of time and thankful for the job he’s done and the football weve played 

 

BUT

 

You can also have a view on how he’s acting and acted recently

 

And it isn’t good

I don't know if we should begrudge him a move, to be honest.

Why is everything so binary when it comes to discussing Röhl? 

 

Can't multiple things be true at the same time? 

 

You can be a big fan of Röhl and also accept that some of his alleged behaviour since December/January hasn't been exemplary. 

 

Don't have any issue with him wanting to get out of the mad house, but I also believe he's far from a saint (pun intended). 

 

Football is a selfish business with most people (owners, players, managers etc.,) looking our for themselves. 

 

The only really loyal ones are the fans who inevitably get shafted time and time again.

What I will say is the situation needs resolving ASAP. 

 

The longer it drags on the more damage it causes. 

 

Needless to say, I have zero confidence in Channers doing what is required.
