Popular Post Steelman Posted May 3 Popular Post Posted May 3 Another one that won’t be here next season. Although he won’t be missed, he’s been a good servant to the club and I wish him and his family all the best. 23 5
Popular Post lukeyswfc Posted May 3 Popular Post Posted May 3 Been a good player for us, we will find it very hard to replace him with our lack of funds. Glad he got that 53rd goal for us. 19
Popular Post the_vinyl_frontier Posted May 3 Popular Post Posted May 3 Decent player. He'll end up somewhere like QPR or Cov and we wont be able to replace him 16

We play far far better football with him in the team because he’s a clever player and technically very deft with his touches. if millions were available we could go and replace him - with what we have we won’t get a player within a light year of Windass for the same position. 6 2 83

OwususFirstTouch Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Sounds like he's off as well then. Will be remembered fondly I think but I can't help but think it's the right decision to part ways here. I know some will point to his numbers and he's done very well to get the totals he's got, particularly the last couple of years, but for his age and likely wages I can't help but think we could be getting more. In saying that whether we decide to recruit properly in the summer, or even have the resources to do so is another matter completely. 2

CircleSeven Posted May 3 Posted May 3 I’ve always rated him and will be sad to see him go. The fact he’s had a good season and has remained injury free will probably help him land a nice fat contract overseas. Good luck to him 4

So how much is he on and who do recommend to improve him for the same wages ?.
