Popular Post areNOTwhatTHEYseem Posted April 21 Popular Post Posted April 21 After his howler against Stoke, Charles must have wanted the ground to open up and swallow him whole. Many a 'keeper, and many a far more experienced one at that, would have been a bit jittery going into today's game. But what a performance from the youngster - a penalty save followed up by a brilliant second to smother the follow-up, as well as several other standout saves. Impressive stuff, and it bodes well for the future. 25 3 58

Well done to Danny for starting him after that howler as if he had took him out it might have affected his confidence for a long time 2 1
CircleSeven Posted April 21 Posted April 21 Yep. Man of the match today which shows huge amounts of character after the other days disaster. 4
1963owl Posted April 21 Posted April 21 I think his performance today after his mistake in the last game shows his mental strength 5 2

He couldn't have dreamed of a better response, could he? 1 3

Mr Grey Man Posted April 21 Posted April 21 Fkn loved that show, bring it back, funniest thing on telly at the time.
Southie_Owl Posted April 21 Posted April 21 Another short ars* keeper Barthez used to drop occasional clangers but was still a world class keeper. Charges can be the same
FightLikeAGirl Posted April 21 Posted April 21 Only a little shorter than Kevin Pressman. And weren’t the Springetts on the small side?
Blergh Posted April 21 Posted April 21 Outstanding performance from the lad today. I think most folk would have taken him out of the firing line going into today. I certainly would have but that just shows what I know. 1
