theowlsman Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 And Southampton aren't all that. Sunderland making them look bang average. Goodness what a competitive league this is. Southampton aren't going to do as well as you'd imagine based on this performance, they've got a touch of the "We're superstars and just need to turn up" about them. It will be a great achievement just surviving this season, but anyone can beat anyone else if they discover some form. Hopefully we find some today. All is not lost yet. Hmm, Xisco though. 1
apswfcowl Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 We caught Southampton at the worst possible time when they still had their top players. 3

island owl Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 as long as we stay up not bothered about other teams 1
theowlsman Posted September 2, 2023 Author Posted September 2, 2023 Sunderland looking very, very, good btw.
Sykes Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 I think there's a clear gulf of quality between 24th and the rest of the table. 1 1 4

theowlsman Posted September 2, 2023 Author Posted September 2, 2023 Sunderland winger Clarke. Excellent player. Valued at £12million apparently and Sunderland just sold a striker for £10million too. Which two players have we got worth £22million? This is what we're up against and Sunderland aren't even promotion hopefuls! What a gulf. And Mr C says Top 6.
alanharper Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 If we don't start picking up points soon there'll be no rivals to watch. 1 1

JohnnyQuinnsQuiff Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 Good news, they’ve arrived at Elland Rd and are now parking the bus in front of the goal. Bad news, Chansiri’s driving. 1
