Beighton Owl 87
Why not have Australia-India joint bid whilst we're at it
sheffield_dave
Why the hell does Italy need to share a bidding process? Well, I know the answer obviously. Same one as why we’re having a World Cup in November.

Simples.
edmontonowl
Sounds to me that FIFA is trying to follow the new Euro model of multiple hosts. Thereby spreading the cash. Mex-US-Can makes geographic sense despite the logistics. I suppose you could argue for the regional federations being hosts - UEFA, CONCACAF, CONMEBOL, OCEANIA and the others, or sub-groups within. But Italy-Saudi is odd at best.

To win a World Cup you have to suck up and bung more than other countries so if you're a FIFA official you can have 2-3 countries sucking up and bunging you up together Not going away anytime soon unfortunately Edited July 17, 2021 by Ellis Rimmer
i used to be sc_owl
If you zoom out on a map they are only an inch or so apart. On that basis, I'm in.
