beswetherick
Ajer to Brentford for £13.5m is a great bit of business for them

WalthamOwl
Villa sign Danny Ings. Very impressive signing for them. Perhaps using the Grealish money already.
fudge27
If Villa manage to get Ward Prowse they've had a blinder imo. Sell Grealish and replace him with Buendia, Bailey, Ings and Ward-Prowse for pretty much the same fees. Great business
Southie_Owl
As someone who likes the Saints, bit worried about them right now. They needed to improve the side even before Ings left and certainly if Ward Prowse goes too. It’s going to be very tough for them to replace those two players even with £50m+ from player sales. Right now they have to be a favourite for a relegation spot.
0wl18
Villa have been very clever. Got their business done early before Grealish left. Haven’t paid over the odds because clubs haven’t held them to ransom knowing they’ve got 100m in the sky rocket.
beswetherick
Can’t see Southampton selling them Ings and JWP. It’ll be interesting to see how Grealish fits in to a Man City team which already has Foden, Sterling, Mahrez, Silva, Torres, De Bruyne and Gundogan as well
Southie_Owl
Surprised Arsenal are willing to sell Willock to Newcastle. Seems a good young English player. Then again, seeing as they’ve just paid £50m for Ben White they don’t seem to have much sense. My Brighton in laws are laughing their heads off that they’ve got £50m for their 4th best centre back
Southie_Owl
Adam Armstrong to Saints will be interesting to see if he can make the step up. On a separate note Mowbray has recruited well for Blackburn during his time there

DC did everything the Venky's did at Blackburn but 100% worse, Blackburn are much better off for them butting out of the club business and letting Mowbray get on with it

Hopefully next summer we will be a championship club again and Moore will be allowed to spend some transfer fees
