Popular Post Spondon Owl
That people have started to believe. It's too far. It's too much to do. Coventry and Birmingham WILL pick up points. I just worry about the effect it will have if people get their hopes up and then they are dashed as usual by Wednesday. Assume we're down and then if by some miracle we stay up it'll be a pleasant surprise. 31
Guest
I agree in some aspect but at the same time I’d much rather us go down fighting, than downing tools and going down with a whimper.
Popular Post Manwë
I'm concerned there are people that think we are down with 21 points to play for. We are staying up. Not opinion, 100% verifiable fact. 5 4 2
Holmowl
Beat the flip-flopped QPR on Saturday and we are right back in it.
mogbad
It will be maddening in the extreme if we're relegated within 6 points of safety knowing they if Monk & the squad had done an average job last season the points deduction would have been applied last season. Plus if DC had got his finger out & completed the stadium sale within the timescales advised by the EFL then there would not have been a points deduction at all. 5
hirstys_achilles
Nothing in football is certain until the final whistle on the last match of the season. All to play for. I hope the players will not throw the towel in until then even if some of the fans have done already 1

And that it took us 3/4 of the season to realise that we needed a striker on the pitch and left-footed players on the left. 11
latemodelchild
I'm concerned we're going to go into the last game of the season knowing a win will keep us up. Against Derby. Not sure I can stand that.

Anyone who can't see this should have gone to Specsavers! 2

Morepork
The fight for survival started on day one of the season, not with a handful of games remaining....... Yesterdays result was a continuation of a pattern we've seen for several years. The odd exceptional performance, it means nothing and you'd be a fool to invest any emotional stock in it. Of course there's a mathematical chance, but that is all. Brace yourself for the drop and if DC doesn't depart in some form then brace yourself further for continued decline. BarnsleyOwl96
Every game we win gives us a chance win at qpr it’s 4 from 6, we then have 3 home games in a row , win 2 of those 3 . it’s then down to 2 wins from last 3 games
McRightSide
A win against QPR would sure make things interesting Which means we’ll be a goal down inside 10 mins 3

WalthamOwl
Last night was a one off, these players haven’t got the consistency, the fight, the want to stay up. That has been proven over the season. Even without a point deduction we would be bottom 3. The current bottom 3 will go down imo.
