Flash Gordon.

Just a bloke. Being dragged along in a world that moves too quick for it's own good.

Impossible to narrow it down to one, I don't think I could even narrow down one genre for example Sci-fi or Western (Terminator 2 and Tombstone today, Blade Runner and Unforgiven tomorrow!) 🙂

Impossible task!!

Apocalypse Now

Night of the Hunter

Blue Velvet

The Big Sleep

...mood, time of day...and I could easily add another 10 lol

The 'why' for all of them is because of brilliant screenplays, superb direction and quality acting and to ignore the cinematography would be criminal. All ...because I never, ever get bored watching them.

Massively underrated.

I would urge anyone that hasn't seen it to do so.

Ignore the reviews you may read and don't take the synopsis at face value as it sounds ridiculous. Just have a watch with an open mind. A staggering piece of film making.

Impossible to answer outright.  Personal favourites that I never get tired of watching -

  • Blade Runner
  • Alien
  • Dirty Harry
  • Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid
  • Das Boot
  • Gladiator
  • The Deer Hunter
  • Road To Perdition (Tom Hanks best performance in my opinion)
  • Inglorious Basterds
  • American History X
  • The Prestige
  • Drive
  • Godfather Part 2

Im going to go with the first film i ever saw that i considered great.  Jaws.

Actors can act but when you have a fake shark that looks like the most scariest thing on the planet and gives millions of people nightmares for generations it wins in my book.

All the main actors made it a classic as well.
